Not a hotel.
Pros:

The shower was excellent. The guy who called the night before said we could arrive at 1 instead of 3 and our room would be ready. He was very friendly.

Cons:

Free parking was advertised but there was none. On arrival about 2pm room wasn't ready and the lady told us to come back later. She said we were not told to arrive early. The view from the window was awful. The room was uncomfortable and small. The kettle leaked. The was an ant infestation. No toiletries soap etc. No sanitary bin. I would have expected a hotel to have a bar or restaurant to be called a hotel. Over priced. We left early we couldn't bare to stay another night.

The room was very clean and modern

Cons:

We booked a Seaview room, and were allocated one on the top 4th floor, which in this heatwave was very uncomfortable.
We were shown a similar room on the second floor, which was much cooler but was initially told by the manager that we could not have this as we had booked through booking dot com who are only allocated top floor rooms as they are discounted.
After much discussion with the manager we had to pay an additional £20 for the room to cover laundry costs!!!
We were also expecting free parking as shown on the sign outside and on the downstairs windows so had to pay an additional £10 day in parking charges.

Excellent location- central to everything. Very clean room, friendly staff. Good value for money.

Cons:

A couple of minor issues but nothing that affected the overall sentiment of our stay.

Parking advertised as free but you do have to pay, it is a public car park a short walk away (not a huge issue really). Extremely creaky floor boards in our room and no soap / shower gel provided but this is easily purchased at a shop round the corner.

Very relaxing home from home
Pros:

Spacious bed sit clean comfortable with amazing views perfect en suite shower room. Traditional homely welcoming staff

Cons:

Can’t complain really, lovely hosts, they supplied a great selection of breakfast serials and fresh milk for our room and the coffee sachets were top.
