Just do it!
Pros:

Highlight stay of my trip. Beautiful and serene. The privacy of the backyard and having my own outdoor bath was very indulgent.

We boekten 2 kamers zonder douche / bad. Niet naar gekeken bij het boeken; verwacht je niet bij een 4 sterren Ryokan weliswaar. Overigens prima opgelost door het personeel. 1 kamer met douche aangeboden en een “huisje” met eigen douche

Een sfeervol verblijf in een authentieke ryokan met oude details maar met alle moderne faciliteiten
Pros:

Prachtige authentieke Ryokan, mooi gerestaureerd en met ruime kamers. Rustige en serene sfeer. Alle moderne faciliteiten zijn aanwezig zoals goede bedden, airco en moderne badkamer/douche. Wij kregen direct een upgrade toen bleek dat de oorspronkelijke kamer geen eigen douche had. Personeel is vriendelijk.

Cons:

Sommige gemeenschappelijke ruimtes zijn wat ouderwets en de onsen is daadwerkelijk oud maar oogt ook wat als vergane glorie. De faciliteiten zouden hier een upgrade kunnen gebruiken.

JR車站及白冰沙灘都有一段距離，步行到便利商店或餐廳的地方，大概都要花5分鐘左右

Pros:

The hotel building was awesome! Wooden hallways, rooms and a lounge, a very nice and memorable experience in that regard. The bathroom upgraded and very modern. The onsen was also quite large considering the amount of rooms, I never met anyone else there.

Cons:

Unfortunately the hotel is understaffed, only 50/50 chance of someone sitting by the front desk to handle inquiries. When I arrived no one was there, I tried calling the number on the sign but no one answered. Luckily someone showed up after 5 minutes though, but I got a little worried for a while.

丘の1番上にあり、車の道が狭いのと、外出時の帰りは少し大変です
