Pros:

Staff were great, beds comfy, prices of drinks about average and views were amazing.

Cons:

The room could do with a proper chair and not just a stool for the vanity table. Also, whilst it didn't bother me personally, my room, No. 3, was above the kitchens and so I had the cooking smells all day, plus the noise of a vent or fan which was on all day and into the night. Luckily the food smelled good and the fan (?) noise ended up being almost like a background white noise, still a great room overall.

Beautiful hotel in a very scenic part of the country. The food was excellent and good value.
Pros:

The rooms were modern and clean. The dinner (steak pie) was first class and outside area was perfect for evening refreshments.

Cons:

The twin room was on the small side and the price of a gin & tonic was on the high side.

Pros:

Everything about my stay was perfect. Parking available in the hotel carpark. The hotel is in the middle of the village. It has a bar which serves food. I had a small issue with my dinner which I didn't want to complain about but the staff noticed and actually raised with me and dealt with perfectly. Everyone is so friendly and the rooms are immaculate. Will definitely be back.

An absolute gem.
Pros:

Brilliant location. All staff very friendly. Room was spotless, well furnished and beautifully appointed. Lovely bathroom with hot shower. Free parking.

Friendly pub with rooms with good access to the Northern Fells.
Pros:

Friendly owners; good bar food and beer; relaxed atmosphere and friendly to hikers.

Cons:

Accommodation felt secondary to the main business of the pub.

No breakfast on offer, we had to buy this from the local coffee house which has the same owners.

Nice location and pub. Room small but to be expected. Location good but lack of shower gel/shampoo in room let down.
Pros:

Location was very nice and close to public transport to get in and out of Keswick

Cons:

We had no shower gel or shampoo in the room. They had run out and a member of staff eventually had to take a shower dispenser off the wall of another room so we could shower ok.

A very nice place to stay.
Pros:

Such a welcoming place to stay with any help offered if needed. Atmosphere was very friendly throughout our stay. The food was very enjoyable and no one should leave hungry with very decent portions for the bigger appetite. I would definitely return when in the Keswick area.

I have no remarks to make.

A great choice close to Keswick with free parking and a warm welcome.
Pros:

Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and well presented room. ample parking. The village of Braithwaite is small and quiet. Would certainly recommend. Bar food was really good.

Cons:

The room was very warm in the midst of a heatwave. A fan would have helped.
