Beautiful hotel and grounds. The room was very clean and comfortable. You need transport to get to the surrounding villages but if you drive there is a car park at the chateau or the staff will help you organise a taxi easily. The restaurant was great with a fantastic menu. Would recommend.

Breakfast fell short of expectations for a 5* hotel - service very slow and got orders incorrect despite multiple clarifications, coffee was some of the worst we’ve had at any hotel, fruit was mostly from tins (not fresh)

The hotel was spectacular in every way just what we’d hoped for this special location. Our room was beautiful, as were the spa and grounds and our dinner in the main restaurant was excellent. All in all 10 out of 10.

A truly beautiful property wonderfully restored and located very close to the charming town of Saint-Emilion in the highly rated wine growing region.
We found the service and attention to detail sadly lacking, the food tasteless and disappointing given the high prices charged. The staff need better training and supervision and a more humble approach to the guests.
