Excellent stay, excellent staff
Pros:

The hotel is located just opposite a bus stop with the Kyoto station just 20 minutes away. Easily accessible and was very convenient (just one bus) to go to kiyomizu-deru, Kodai-ji temple and bamboo forest, Gion, pontocho alley, Nishiki market etc etc. I must give a special mention to the receptionist at the hotel, his manners were exceptional!

I loved the stay at this hotel.
Pros:

I loved the viewpoint of the room. It was excellent and fabulous. From my room window I can see the entire view of Kyoto. I enjoyed staying in that room. I highly recommend you to book this hotel, if you want a comfortable stay at Kyoto.

Cons:

Location. It is a bit far from Centre. Direct bus facility is there. However, if you carry luggage you need to hire a taxi. However, you can able to walk to this location from nearby local metro station. Yet, this struggle will not pain you, as the hotel is exceptionally good.

Pros:

ロームシアターへ行く予定だったのでホテル前のバス停から1本で行けたのが便利が良かった。
ホテルの向かいにスーパーマーケットがあったのも良かった。

最高でした！
Pros:

とても綺麗で広くてスタッフの方が皆良い人すぎました。
また目の前にはLIFEが遅くまで営業しているし2件先には大きなドライブスルーのスタバが23：00までやっていて便利でした。

Cons:

2つの駅(西院・丹波口)が利用できるのは良かったのですがどちらの駅も徒歩15分〜20分掛かる感じです。丹波口から京都駅までたったの2駅です！
バス停は目の前にあり主要な観光には行けるのでバス利用お勧めです！
