Amazing staff and lovely hotel
Pros:

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were amazing - all of them went above and beyond - we slept through breakfast timing (as we had a late arrival - arriving after 01.30) but that was no problem - they accommodated us at 11.00 for coffee & breakfast - which we definitely weren’t expecting!) And then we had to visit the pharmacy - the staff assisted us and took us there and back

The hotel was clean and comfortable and good value for money

Cons:

Due to location in town centre it was noisy from about 5am - not the hotels fault, just the location - any hotel in town would be the same.
Beds were firm but ok
No lift but the staff were fab with transporting bags to the room

Pros:

Large room in this old building, they have drinkable tap water which was a real bonus. Accept their pick up transfer as their luggage porters carry your bags down narrow alleys, and it's the same price anyway. It is in the old town so shopping to be done right outside. Stonetown has some great places to eat. It was totally safe night or day to explore and mix with everyone, we could have stayed longer and done a boat trip from this side of the island. Breakfast on the roof terrawas really tasty with local food as well as western. All the staff were so helpful and friendly at all times. Highly recommend to stay here.

Perfect for a short stay in Stone Town. Staff super helpful
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for one night before our flight home and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay.

The hotel was clean and well maintained, and our room was spacious. Breakfast was served on the covered rooftop terrace, which was a lovely setting and provided welcome shade from the sun. Breakfast was great with lots of choice.

After we checked out, the hotel kindly looked after our luggage for the day and even allowed us to use a shower before heading to the airport, which was greatly appreciated after spending the day sightseeing.

The staff also arranged our taxi to the airport and organised our trip to Prison Island, making everything easy and hassle-free.

Overall, this is an excellent hotel with great service, and we would happily recommend it to anyone staying in the

Great service & hospitality from staff. Excellent location for exploring stone town.
Pros:

I liked the spacious room & the design. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Loved the Spiced Coffee.

Cons:

Booking.com payment didn't go through so we had to pay at the property. Breakfast was the same everyday with very few options offered. Azaan (prayer call) was very loud around 5am, but this will probably be the case in all of Stone Town.

Excellent Stone Town option!
Pros:

Great location, superb staff who helped you with anything needed, large spacious rooms and a great rooftop area for breakfast and enjoying the view

Cons:

No matter how long I left the water heater switch on, I only got a few minutes of warm water. I’m sure had I reported the issue, it would have been resolved

Good place to stay in Stone town!
Pros:

Location was great and staff were very helpful in sorting out where to eat, things to do, best shops to go to, etc.

Cons:

Location was pretty noisy and very close to a mosque so prayer was a very loud time in the room. They provided great earplugs to help with it which I thought was a nice touch.
