Pros:

Situé en plein cœur de Reykjavik, cet hôtel est un point de chute idéal pour découvrir la ville, grâce à sa position extrêmement centrale qui permet de tout faire à pied : musées, restaurants, port, vie nocturne… tout est à proximité immédiate.

L’appartement en lui-même offre un niveau de confort difficile à égaler. Il était impeccablement propre et très bien équipé :
- une cuisine entièrement fonctionnelle (idéal pour préparer ses repas et économiser sur les restaurants),
- une machine à café expresso avec quatre capsules offertes chaque jour (un vrai plus pour bien commencer la journée sans frais supplémentaires),
- un grand réfrigérateur et un congélateur (pratique pour stocker courses et produits frais),
- un vaste salon agréable à vivre,
- deux téléviseurs écran plat, l’un dans le salon et l’autre dans la chambre (confort appréciable pour ceux qui voyagent en couple ou en famille).

L’espace de rangement est généreux, ce qui permet de s’installer vraiment comme chez soi, sans vivre dans les valises. La présence d’un coffre-fort ajoute un sentiment de sécurité pour les objets de valeur. Le système d’éclairage et de chauffage est moderne et intuitif, offrant un confort thermique et une ambiance lumineuse personnalisable, ce qui améliore réellement la qualité du séjour, surtout en hiver.

La salle de bain est particulièrement bien équipée : peignoirs, chaussons, linge en quantité suffisante et serviettes de bonne qualité. Ces attentions participent à une vraie sensation d’hôtel haut de gamme, où tout est pensé pour le bien-être du client.

Les alentours immédiats de l’hôtel constituent un autre point fort. À seulement deux minutes à pied se trouve le musée d’art contemporain, qui mérite réellement la visite, notamment pour les magnifiques œuvres d’Erró. Cela ajoute un intérêt culturel accessible sans contrainte de transport.

We will stay here again!
Pros:

The location was perfect for us. The tour bus pickup was just a short walk. It’s close to the harbor. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Cons:

The wind chill made it a cold visit. But we expected that. So dress warmly and in layers.

Bel appartement moderne et spacieux au coeur de Reykjavik
Pros:

Appartement très spacieux, très moderne, très lumineux, bien agencé et très bien équipé. Situé à 5 mins à pied du coeur de Reykjavik, il permet de rayonner partout dans la ville. Le room service permet de se faire livrer si l'on n'a pas le temps de cuisiner.

WOW - amazing value for a large, gorgeous apartment. Massive balcony, excellent location, and extremely clean. I can't believe I paid the same price for this awesome & spacious apartment as I did for a small hotel room a few days prior! Highly recommend!

Cons:

A washer/dryer in the unit would have been a great bonus, but we loved everything about this unit.

High end stay
Pros:

Spacious, clean, neat and tidy. Digital control over whole lighting. Good working kitchenette and appliances. Comfy bed, large and excellent shower and toilet with quality toiletries.

Cons:

Would complete 10 stars if there's a washer cum dryer.

Great space, fabulous location
Pros:

Black Pearl was in a great location to walk to tour bus stop, restaurants, shopping. We enjoyed the living space and being able to prepare meals in the apartment.

Cons:

The front street was noisy at times and it was warm in the apartment so we needed to open windows and use a fan provided by Black Pearl.
