Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Gion Crystal Hotel. L’emplacement est idéal, dans le magnifique quartier de Gion, avec un accès facile aux temples, aux commerces et aux transports. Le personnel a été très accueillant, souriant et toujours prêt à nous aider. La chambre était propre, confortable et bien entretenue, ce qui nous a permis de bien nous reposer après nos journées de visite. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme de l’hôtel malgré sa situation centrale. Nous y retournerions avec plaisir lors d’un prochain séjour à Kyoto.

Cons:

Nous avons un peu moins apprécié le fait qu’il y avait très peu de cintres et peu d’espace pour suspendre ou ranger nos vêtements, ce qui est un peu compliqué lors d’un séjour de plusieurs jours. Nous avons également trouvé que les poubelles de la chambre étaient vraiment trop petites. Heureusement, nous avions prévu des sacs pour regrouper nos déchets, que nous avons ensuite pu jeter dans les poubelles situées à l’entrée de l’hôtel.

Séjour parfait en tout point, confort, commodités et proximité des sites.
Pros:

L'hôtel est parfait pour un séjour à Kyoto. Belle chambre, assez spacieuse pour le Japon, décorée avec soin. Café, thé à disposition dans la chambre. L'emplacement idéal dans le fameux quartier Gion. Tout peut se faire à pied et pour les balades plus lointaines, l'hôtel est tout proche des transports en commun.

Cons:

L'hôtel pourrait proposer des petits-déjeuners.

La habitación sencilla pero suficientemente para dormir

Cons:

Lo que no me gustó nada fue el personal. Antipático con ganas. El hotel tiene una terraza cerrada para poder tomar algo y en los 3 días que estuvimos no pudimos utilizarla, preguntamos y la única contestación: cerrada
Me resultó bastante desagradable el comportamiento de todos los que estaban detrás del mostrador
Al irnos y entregar la llave ( tarjeta) faltaba una por lo que cobraron 3000 yenes ( por un cacho de plástico) y que no he visto nunca que se cobrara. Al final apareció y devolvieron el dinero

3 star hotel advertised as 4 ,
Pros:

The location was excellent , size was good , we could put two Australian suitcases opened in floor

Cons:

Advertised as 4 star , but just making three star , no restaurant as advertised , just a big room , nowhere to hang clothes , no bedside lamp or light to use at night , staff ok , did their job , bathroom tiny but expected that , the water was hot and plentiful , when handed key in for cleaning , wasn’t cleaned well

Pros:

Great location in Gion. The room was spacious. Friendly staff. The breakfast looked really good though we did not order it.

Cons:

The vanity/sink area associated with the bathroom was actually in the main part of the room, not in the room with the toilet and shower, so when sharing the room with others that was a bit of a pain as I get up earlier to do my make-up and had to turn on the light to do so, which woke up my family.
