This hotel is fantastic. It's located perfectly with the water taxi right in front of the hotel. The best of glass blowing demonstrations is just a couple minutes walk over the bridge. There are wonderful restaurants located within walking distance across from a historic church. The scenery is magical. Rooms are clean, updated, and quiet. The beds are comfortable. The spa is not in working order. Don't go to the glass blowing demonstration in the front of the island. The Hyatt says to use their name to get in and wave the charges. They don't wave the entrance fee.
Lovely hotel and outdoor restaurant, right at a vaporetto stop so very convenient for bring in luggage. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Turns out that all of Murano is pretty quiet after about 5:00 PM, when day-trippers from Venice go back and the sidewalks are rolled up. That aside, the hotel staff, and especially the concierge, was helpful. The crew at the outside restaurant (Riva Longa) were all terrific as well, and they taught me about several variations on the spritz cocktail. That restaurant was one of the few places that remained open into the evening, so we enjoyed a couple of excellent meals there. Both hotel and Riva Longa are highly recommended!
Unfortunately, the indoor restaurant (Osteriva) was closed while we were there.

* The hotel’s “gastronomic” restaurant was only open one evening during our entire stay and then closed until September.
* The spa was closed during our stay.
* The room service staff made me wait 45 minutes for a pre-ordered meal, only to tell me it was no longer available, with no vegetable alternative offered—not even something simple like bread and cheese! They ended up offering me a tiramisu as my “dinner.”
* The shampoo and shower gel dispensers were faulty.
* The iron was broken; water leaked onto the cable and caused a power outage in the room.
* Check-out took more than 45 minutes for just three rooms. (Apparently he was new , but Even New joiners have supervisors)
From the moment we arrived in the suite, the issues were obvious: stains on the walls, a clipped fingernail on the floor, and damaged furniture (a torn ottoman, stained fabrics). The sofa bed was in a deplorable condition, with an unmade mattress covered in yellow stains, and even a visible blood stain when we turned it over.
No real solution was offered despite our complaints, apart from putting clean sheets over it (!). We ended up having to sleep three people in a double bed. The manager left without resolving the situation that same evening because she had “finished her shift,” even though we had informed her two hours earlier. She simply told us to “please rest” and to deal with the other manager the next day.
The following day, the other manager offered a 50% discount after we refused to pay the full price for the suite. This gesture does not make up for such a terrible experience. We booked a suite in a 4-star hotel for €400 per night expecting peace of mind and a clean place to sleep — and we got neither.
Unworthy of a 4-star hotel. I do not recommend it.
