Property takers Ng over with new owners, they don't seem to be interested in hotel, stayed here a number of times over the years everything has gone down hill prices at bar sky high staff at breakfast to busy talking among themselves, rooms very tired, won't stay here again. Henry

NICE 2 DAY STAY AT A FRIENDLY WELL EQUIPPED HOTEL NEAR WOODBRIDGE.
Pros:

ALL STAFF WERE EXCELLENT, PARTICULARLY THE RECEPTION STAFF WHO WERE FRIENDLY, ENGAGING, KEEN AND HELPFUL. BREAKFAST CHOICE AND QUALITY WAS EXCELLENT. BAR STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

Cons:

WATER FROM THE SINK AND SHOWER HEAD WAS EITHER HOT OR HOTTER SO I COULD NOT HAVE A COOL SHOWER. KEY CARD DID NOT WORK FIRST TIME NECESSITATING ANOTHER VISIT TO RECEPTION WHICH WAS A FEW HUNDRED YARDS AWAY. NO RESTAURANT MENU OR FAN IN MY ROOM. THE RECEPTION STAFF DID FIND A FAN FOR ME LATER WHICH WAS GREAT. RADIATOR IN THE BATHROOM WAS RUSTY.

The pool is a good size. Hotel was comfortable enough for a night while we were at a nearby wedding.

Cons:

The cooked breakfast had almost run out at 9:30, and what was left looked like it had been out for a while.
Fire alarm went off at 2am.

Cons:

Hotel looked very tired .Our premier room was in need of refurbishment as was the dining room. Some of the staff in the dining area at breakfast were very sullen and not properly trained in hospitality.

Pros:

Golf course looked good

Cons:

Very dated and worn, massively in need of a refurbishment, bed was very uncomfortable and badly worn, as for the pool and changing rooms, they by far are the worst I've seen. The pool was cloudy with bits floating around in it, changing rooms and toilets needed serious cleaning!
Looked good front photos. However, will never visit here again.

Pros:

The location is good , room was a good size .

Cons:

The hotel was a little unloved , for example no milk in the room , not enough staff in the restaurant, rubbish from a party the night before was not totally cleaned away .bins outside the bar were full . It just looked like it needed a bit of TLC . The staff were doing their best , there didn’t seem to be any management around .

The dinner in restaurant was very yummy

Cons:

Room wasn’t clean enough , bits on the floor and bathroom wasn’t cleaned well and toilet flushed came off and didn’t flush well at all . We didn’t know details about breakfast or check outs times. No vegan sausages at breakfast as had ran out which was a shame.
The pool facilities were ok but very run down. Sauna wasn’t working.
Didn’t think it was worth £215 for only one night at all .

Pool and spa. Room nice and big, clean and comfy!

Cons:

Waiting staff do not wait on you. Only one waitress was attentive. The others seemed very young and needed direction of a floor manager that wasn’t there. Food took ages to be ordered and then you were chasing for someone! Tables not made. Little things like bringing a jug of water over and not noticing you had no glasses so you again would have to ask. Walking by your table piled with plates but not taking them away. Two of the female staff as breakfast were doing each others hair behind the bar?? Very odd! Bread at breakfast empty until you asked for some. Hash browns also! Just constant chasing of staff to do what they should be doing naturally! Very young and inexperienced and need guidance and leadership. The food was very nice when it came but when I say we waited 1hr and 20 mins for gammon, sausage and mash and a tube sandwich I am not exaggerating!!!! Also, the dining area needs redecorating as it looks like it’s from the 80’s still! Get these things corrected and it would have been an excellent stay!
