Lively place and eclectic decor
Confusion on check in. No lobby or signs indicating how to check in. Elevator not functioning, hard to get 3 big suitcases up the stairs.

Rozmiar pokoju bardzo dobry, widok na park, atmosfera starej kamienicy. Łóżko wygodne.
Śniadania smaczne, choć wybór nie jest zbyt duży.
Zapach w pokoju był nieprzyjemny, wykladzina stara i chyba to ona śmierdziała. Czystość pokoju średnia.
Brak recepcji utrudnia pobyt gościowi hotelu, trzeba biegać za obsługą baru i restauracji, która jest pełna ludzi każdego wieczoru i prosić o pomoc.
Internet się zacinał i wyłączał, po 2 dniach dostałam od personelu dostęp do ich Internetu i było ok.
Cena hotelu jest zbyt wysoka w stosunku do tego co zastajesz na miejscu.
Winda nieczynna przez cały pobyt, 5 dni. Nie zostałam o tym poinformowana przy rezerwacji pokoju na 2 piętrze.
Było bardzo ciepło gdy byłam, miałam mały wiatraczek, bo w pokoju nagrzane od dachu, okno otworzyć się do końca nie dało, tylko uchylić.
To nie jest hotel, raczej restauracja z pokojami na górze. Jeśli tego szukacie to black ivy jest dla was.
I love the décor, it’s a beautiful blend of old and modern, with great taste. The colours they’ve chosen create such a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed.
The staff are very polite, professional, and know their job well.
Breakfast is great with enough options to choose for your liking.
The location is excellent: safe, quiet, and still within easy reach of the Meadows and the university.
All in all, I would highly recommend it…
The price is a little too high for what they include. In the bathroom, they only provide a box of tissues, shampoo, body wash, and hand soap, and nothing else. There isn’t even a scale, ear buds, a hair cover, or dressing gowns and slippers. It is quite basic, but it wasn’t a big problem for us as we were well prepared anyway.

Lovely hotel, decorated well and extremely clean. Staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate.
The room was much bigger than I thought it would be, described as a ‘crash pad’ on their website but it was a nice size and had good decor.
The room was just so hot. Window only opened a few inches but then was kept awake by the air conditioning until for the downstairs areas which was ironic! Didn’t sleep well because of the heat despite it being a very comfortable bed.

Room overlooking the park is very noise early in the morning with beer kegs and deliveries arriving. Room is extremely small.

Staff were super social, attentive servers, rooms were beautiful and very clean. The Sunday lunch and breakfast was incredible. Consistently amazing cocktails, can’t wait to book again.
