Excellent homestay in a lovely and super hosting family :) Would love to come back!!

Everything is amazing about this place!! The family is so welcoming & kind and they have such a lovely house and garden! From the nice setting to the amazing dinner cooked by the host to a custom breakfast, everything made us feel at home :) The bedroom is bog and comfy with the air conditioning working perfectly and a nice hot shower! Perfect 🤩

Relaxing, clean and comfortable stay!
Pros:

We had a really good stay at the SMW Lodge! The owners were very polite, and whenever we needed something, they were more than willing to help us out. The room was very clean and located in a beautiful spot. The breakfast was excellent!

Pros:

The host was really good.
We arrived earlier than the check in time.
The previous guest were just leaving.
Within an hour the host and his family got our room ready without a fuss.
They were very accommodating and tried to satisfy our every need.
They also organized us tuk tuks to wherever we needed to go.
The breakfast was more than sufficient with much variety offered

Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant, le petit déjeuner est très copieux et bon!!
Nous avons eu une chambre propre et un petit cocktail de bienvenue. Je recommande de venir séjourner dans l’hôtel.

The friendliest owner who was always on hand with recommendations or as a driver. Fresh breakfast prepared everyday at any time I requested. Always delicious

Cons:

Slightly outside of the village but host rented me a bike so travel was easy.

Pros:

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der SMW Lodge. Es ist sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegen, mitten im Grünen. Der Host ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich - er hat sich super um uns gekümmert, es gab leckeres Frühstück und er hat beispielsweise mit dem TukTuk nach Dambulla gefahren. Das Zimmer war gemütlich, wir konnten im Bett gut schlafen und es gab warmes Wasser zum duschen. Können wir weiter empfehlen :)
