Pros:

Good value for money, ideal location for us as we wanted to do some local walks. Ate there for evening meal and breakfast, both of which were very good. The room was a decent size and clean, and the bed was comfortable. We found the staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Cons:

The shower had very little pressure.

We had a very enjoyable stay, would come again. Minor issues, but friendly staff sorted easily.
Pros:

The location was good for local walks and nearby towns of historical interest. The breakfast was excellent also.

Cons:

- The bed wasn't set up for two singles when we got there, so we had to get some staff to change the bedding etc.
- a Better choice of ale's would have been good in the bar.
- we couldn't use the front area, due to a wedding being on.

Pros:

In a pleasant village. The staff was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We also booked in for our evening meal and breakfast. Both very enjoyable.

A nice hotel, with friendly staff in a beautfil area.
Pros:

The hotel has a fitting old-fashioned appearance, while it is located in a beautiful area. The staff was both friendly and helpful, and I had a great dinner. Although I visited because of work, I could still also really enjoy my stay.

A lovely relaxing stay.
Pros:

There was an excellent choice at breakfast and the food was of a high standard.
We had an excellent evening meal. Good choice of beers and wine.

Cons:

Noise from neighbouring rooms during the night when toilets were flushed and taps turned on.

Pros:

Über das Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen, da wir früh abfahren mussten. Das Abendessen hingegen war top!

Cons:

Alter Teppich, schwacher Wasserdruck in der Dusche, zu kleiner Duschkopf. Aus der Badewanne zu steigen, birgt Verletzungsgefahr.
