Great location
Pros:

The rooms were period which was lovely incl the 4 poster bed

Very disappointed
Cons:

Broken very uncomfortable bed. No towels in the bathroom, i had go go and sort some. Very outdated decor. Scrambled eggs that could be sliced with a knife. Too much confusion over check out time. It was either 10am, 1030am or 1100am. I paid £180 for the privilege. Even a staff member said this place was outdated. Occasional cobwebs on the bed frame.

Central location can walk everywhere
Pros:

Great location close to a lot of pubs and cafes. We walked everywhere from Crab Hall. Good breakfast.

Cons:

There is a small car park but if you don’t get a space would have to park away from your accommodation

Perfect location. 5min walk to Whitby centre and beautiful hotel.
Pros:

Lovely and would definitely visit again .
Pros:

Location was excellent. Within walking distance of the centre.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble

Cons:

The parking was a little bit first come first served but we did manage to get a park

Great staff and restaurant, disappointing room.
Pros:

I liked the restaurant and the food, the staff were very nice and couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

The room was very dated and for the price I think the instant cheap coffee was disappointing, the decor was very tired, room very basic I would have expected a lot more for what I paid, no toiletries apart from 1 bottle of soap. No robes which were in the description. Disappointing to be honest.

Perfect stay
Pros:

Loved the look of the building and the interior was amazing with it's four poster bed and all the beautiful fireplaces ,beamed ceilings we loved everything about it.

Pros:

The old part was full of character. Great location for walking into centre . Great shower

Cons:

Our room was very different from the room shown in photos. Dust and a cobweb went from light to corner of bedpost. Cobwebs around window . Numerous bags of laundry outside our room
