A charming little hotel in the heart of the 8th: what a great place!
Pros:

My husband and I stayed here for one night only (unfortunately), but would have happily stayed longer. It is a small boutique hotel with very light and airy style and I thought our room was decently sized and really nicely decorated. Everything seemed really colourful, fresh and new. And clean! The windows were excellent at keeping out street noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And we enjoyed the spa which was petit but very pleasant. The fact that you reserve your place ahead of time is great, so you have it all to yourself. I would like to say that I left my phone charger behind in the room when we checked out , and because we were still in Paris the next day I went back to La Lavoisier to see if it might have been turned in, but not really expecting it to have been.
But sure enough, the young man at the front desk had it right there and was about to send me an email that it had been found in the room. This was such a pleasant surprise! Great place to stay for seeing the sights of Paris as it is centrally located. We would happily stay longer next time!

It was okay but I doubt I will book again the hotel.

No pressure in the shower; bedrooms are small and mattress is not comfortable. Noise when facing the street.

Mooi en rustig verblijf.
Pros:

Heel mooie en nette kamer, ruime badkamer. Goed gelegen in een rustige buurt. Metro en bus op paar miniuten wandelen. Ontbijt was prima. De ontbijtkamer was eigenlijk de lobby dus niet echt heel comfortabel om te eten aan kleine tafeltjes, maar het was een aangename en mooie ingerichte ruimte.

Cons:

Hoewel er een honesty bar was, misten we toch een ijskastje op de kamer, zeker bij het warme weer van voorbije weekend. De kamer was heel mooi in gericht, maar iets te weinig plaats om de koffertjes van 3 personen open te leggen.

Amazing mattress, feathers, and pillows; wonderful, helpful staff. It was very nice of them to congratulate us on our birthday and present us with a bottle of champagne and sweets. The view from the window is very Parisian, overlooking a street with houses featuring authentic French windows. The room has a kettle and everything needed for making tea. We also used the spa with a small swimming pool. It is a little far from the Eiffel Tower, but close to the Galeries Lafayette and the Opéra Garnier. You can also walk to Montmartre in 20 minutes. In the same building, there is a wonderful bakery with amazing croissants and coffee, which is very convenient for those who do not like full breakfasts.

Great location, lovely stylish hotel.
Pros:

The location is great - it's a nice area of Paris, pretty central, we walked to Galeries Lafayette in about 10 mins. Metro station nearby. We used the spa - it's small but still great to relax in after a day of sight seeing.

The weather, lol.
