A beautiful property with extensive grounds, amazing food & a very warm welcome

Wir haben eine Woche in der Villa Quinta Torrinha (Ocean View Room) verbracht und waren rundum begeistert.

Die Lage ist einfach perfekt: Man kann bei der Unterkunft parken, ist aber auch in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in der Stadt. Gleichzeitig ist es der ideale Ausgangspunkt, um Madeira zu erkunden. Nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag war es jedes Mal schön, in diese ruhige kleine Oase zurückzukehren.

Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es angenehm ruhig und sehr entspannend. Das gesamte Team war jederzeit freundlich und herzlich, und alles war ausgesprochen sauber und gepflegt.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Ein Paradies ganz nah an der Altstadt von Funchal mit herrlichen Ausblicken auf die Stadt, die Bucht und die Berge. Der Garten ist unglaublich, die Gebäude sensationell hergerichtet und das Frühstück sucht seinesgleichen. Bis ins letzte Detail wurde hier das perfekte Resort geschaffen, dass viel Platz, Ruhe und Privatsphäre bietet. Matthias als Gastgeber hat den Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet.

Quinta Torrinha is truly an exceptional place in the middle of Funchal. Beautifully designed, peaceful, private, and thoughtfully created down to the smallest detail. The entire property is incredibly well maintained, the garden is stunning, and the high-quality furnishings throughout the accommodation make this place feel truly special.

We stayed in a wonderful accommodation with our own private garden and absolutely loved the privacy and calm atmosphere. Due to the small number of guests the establishment accommodates, it always felt very exclusive and relaxing, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment there.

A very special thank you goes to Matthias. He welcomed us so warmly from the very first moment and constantly made an effort to create the best possible stay for us. He truly went above and beyond what you would normally expect and was always reachable whenever we needed anything.

We especially appreciated the level of trust that is given to the guests here. Being able to simply help yourself to drinks from the refrigerators whenever you like creates such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that feels very rare nowadays.

Thank you for this unforgettable time and for everything that was made possible for us during our stay. We would return anytime.

Matthias and his team were outstanding hosts. From the minute we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcomed. The villa has been beautifully renovated creating a homely and stylish atmosphere. Every detail has been thought through. The breakfast was truly one of the best we have ever had in a hotel. Every day something delicious and different appeared. The gardens are beautiful and a relaxing and to a day exploring the island to sit by the pool and enjoy a drink from the honesty bar.

Tout était absolument parfait. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques, calmes et tout ce dont on a besoin (piscine, etc).
Les chambres sont très confortables et calmes.
le petit déjeuner est parfait.
C'est un endroit paradisiaque dans une belle île.

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Das Zimmer und die gesamte Anlage sind hochwertig und sehr komfortabel ausgestattet und gestaltet. Es gibt verschiedene Terrassen und Sitzplätze mit mehreren Bars mit Selbstbedienung. Verschiedene Terrassen bieten Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt mit vielen Pflanzen, kleinen Brunnen, Fischteichen, Poolbereich.
Das Frühstück ist wirklich aussergewöhnlich. Jeden Tag gibt es neue verschiedene, sehr leckere warme Speisen, dazu tolle Salate, Obst und abwechselndes Gebäck.

Besser kann man nicht frühstücken! Superfrisch mit täglich variierten Köstlichkeiten vom Chef persönlich zubereitet. Der Blick in den schönen, tropischen Garten von der wunderschönen Terrasse auf die Hauptstadt Funchal den Hafen und das Meer: herausragend!
Sehr nettes Personal unter der aufmerksamen Anleitung des Chefs.
Die nahe Altstadt ist fussläufig gut zu erreichen, steilere Strassen inklusive.
