My wife and I recently stayed at Sharm Villa Hotel for two nights, and it was easily one of the best highlights of our trip to Albania. We were genuinely sad to leave and tried to extend our stay, but we couldn't alter our upcoming travel bookings.
From the very start, the hospitality was unmatched. We arrived incredibly late (around 10:00 PM), but the team was exceptionally accommodating. We were greeted warmly by David, who immediately went out of his way to recommend a fantastic local spot that was still serving dinner at that hour. The next morning, David and the manager, Ari, went above and beyond by map-routing our day trip to the Gjirokastër Castle. They gave us a clever insider route that saved us from the much longer Google Maps path, and told us exactly where to park near the bazaar.
As for the room, it was spectacular. Located on the top floor, it featured a massive balcony with breathtaking, sweeping views of the mountains. The entire space was spotlessly clean, perfectly maintained, and fully stocked with all the amenities you could need. Having free parking directly on the property was also a massive plus.
For the level of service, comfort, and care we received, the pricing was incredibly reasonable. We will absolutely be staying here again the next time we visit Albania. If you are looking for the perfect stay in Gjirokastër, don't hesitate—book Vila Sharm!

Tolles Zimmer!
Pros:

Das Zimmer war toll! Wir waren auf einer großen Albanienreise und hatten viele Hotels. Dieses Zimmer war absolut das Beste! Toll! Geräumig, ästhetisch, Stauraum, Aussicht, coole Beleuchtung, sehr hohe Decken. Übernachtung im Ottoman Haus!

Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist eher unattraktiv. Die Altstadt ist aber nach 20 Minuten zu Fuß (steile Wege) erreichbar.
