I liked everything! Botanic Sapa Hotel was amazing!
The quietness, homeliness, stylishness, friendliness and comfort was wonderful - great sleep.
The helpfulness, knowledge and recommendations from An, her hand drawn map and her lovely family were warm and welcoming during my whole stay.
Botanic is small, beautiful and much more than a hotel.
It suited me perfectly as an older solo traveller.
An recommended some apps and helped me get set up for using QR code payment like you do in Vietnam.
All An’s food recommendations were delicious and the hiking plans she helped me with for my days there were just right. Highly recommended! 🙏👍

The views and the hospitality. Let's start with why. I had booked a bus from Hanoi to Sapa, which arrived earlier than scheduled, at 4 am! After the initial panic and hesitation (rightly so), the host let me in. This is a family-owned business and the family lives on the property. So let the host know well in advance if you will be arriving early. And if I can make a suggestion, don't take the night bus, it's not worth the hassle. You'll be too tired by the time you reach Sapa in the morning.
Vân really went out of her way to make me comfortable by giving me extra fruit and snacks. (Love those pineapples!) She also recommended good places to eat and a local tour which I would highly recommend.
PS: They have a shy cat named Moon. If he lets you pet him, then you're special 🥹.
The biscuits provided in the room were delicious.
Also, there is no VP bank ATM in Sapa. the closest one in Lao Cai, so I'd recommend withdrawing cash in Hanoi or a bigger city. The property accepts card payment

Omg the kindest family and such a comfortable and clean guesthouse❤️ Van is so warm-hearted and caring, she always greeted us with a big smile and we felt like at home every time😊 She gave us a map and told about the most important places in the town + recommended restaurants.

Van even treated us with local sweet spring rolls which were delicious (we didn’t resist and ate all of them just before going to bed hehe).

It also meant so much for us that you and your husband helped us during check out when it was raining!🥹

We spent a very authentic experience in this hotel, sharing a bit of the life of the family living here.
Our room on the last floor was always really clean and the view from the balcony was beautiful.

Van was an amazing host, really helpful, friendly and kind. The room was clean and comfortable we slept very well. The location was great very close to restaurants and bars but also tucked away and quiet. Beautiful view from the balcony.

I had an amazing stay at Botanic Sapa Hotel. Van, her husband, her daughter Mia and Moon the cat are wonderful hosts. Van is always waiting at the door to greet you and has so many recommendations and can produce a personal itinerary for your stay. She was always so welcoming and chatty. The room was extremely clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The room had a fridge, hairdryer, AC, tea/coffee facilities, water and a full length mirror. There was also a balcony with mountain views.
Mia played the piano like a professional and filled the homestay with gentle music. The location is very close to the centre, down a quiet street (steps). There was no noise at night time which was great for sleep.
Van sent me on my way packed with a water bottle and some snacks for my onward journey.

It was like a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this homestay hotel.

Die Eigentümerin ist unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und gibt sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge passend zum aktuellen Wetter. Die Unterkunft ist ideal gelegen sauber und man hat eine schöne Aussicht auf die Berge.

Clean, comfortable room with a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. Van and her family were lovely hosts and helped me to plan my activities in Sapa to ensure I made the most of my stay. Van also provided a map of the town and gave suggestions for restaurants etc. She arranged a hiking tour day for me with a local Hmomg guide for a good price. The hotel is well located in Sapa nearby shops, restaurants, and the station to Fansipan mountain but its still quiet at night. I would happily stay again.

La chambre était très propre, le lit confortable avec une magnifique vue sur les montagnes. L'emplacement est très pratique avec pleins de bons cafés et restaurants dans les alentours. Les hôtes sont adorables et donnent pleins d'explications sur les activités à l'arrivée à l'hôtel.

Die Lage ist toll! Und die Gastgeberin ist so herzlich und hilft einem bei allem (Transport, Ausflüge, Planung vor Ort, Wäscheservice mit Rückgabe am selben Tag). Ebenso haben wir kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie Wasser bei der Abreise und Obst erhalten. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben einen tollen Blick auf die Berge. Wenn wir nochmal in Sapa sind kommen wir definitiv wieder! Preis/Leistung unschlagbar! Wir wünschen der Familie nur das Beste!

It’s very clean and the location was really good as it’s close to the center. The host was very nice and accommodating even when we arrived very late at night. The place is very homey and the host even went out of her way to make food for my sister when she was sick and stuck in her room. Thank you for an amazing stay, Van. La gentillesse, la bienveillance et les petites attentions de Van propriétaire de l'hôtel. La vue est formidable.. Lemplacement proche du centre tout en restant au calme. Propreté impeccable.

Everything was pretty much as described. The room is beautifully decorated and the hotel in a central location with nice views of the valley (on upper floor rooms). Minh the owner took time to map out Sapa surroundings and things to do.
