Only criticism was worn out bed sheets and a little dust
This is a special house in a unique location. We absolutely loved it. The hotel has been beautifully restored and stylishly decorated. We appreciated coffee and biscuits in the room and bread, cereal and milk in the kitchen. Entry was easy with directions given anf codes for the gate, front door and room door.
The curtains were see through and the shutters dont close. There is no sign when you drive down so it is easy to miss the turn off. Nothing very notable, and didn't really affect our stay
Everything was great the people and the place right beside the water was just lovely 😍 and lots of places to go you even see the waverly boat going up the Clyde fantastic 😀 and little cafe near ❤️ great food 😀

This is a wonderful hotel, outside of the well trodden track to Dumbarton. Very clean and well decorated room, the "common room" with small kitchen and Nespresso machine was appreciated.
- familiarise yourself with the location before coming here, it's easy once you know how!

It did seem strange that there were no people there, but someone was cleaning &, very helpfully showed us round, plus the other guests & the couple in the house boat were very friendly.
Another one of many stays at this fabulous property & we were treated to one of our favourite rooms. Super big, comfy bed, spotlessly clean, very secure for vehicles and a lovely kitchen/seating area to use if you so wish. Oh & it’s dog friendly too but as a current chemo patient at the Beatson, our boy stayed at home - a really great, relaxing night before treatment day.
