Loved everything about our stay.
The kitchen and breakfast bits were a lovely extra touch.
Parking - signs to show where we should park There was lots of space but no designated area.
The room decor was beautiful and the location was lovely with secure parking! We loved the communal kitchen and the bed was very comfy.
The listing said that dogs were free and each room had a dog bed, the day before I was sent a link to pay for a dog? And there was no dog bed? Felt a bit smoke and mirrors. Also the door was a little short which meant that noise carried really easily!
The room was fine for a one night stay but perhaps a bit small for any longer!
Great location. Great decor and week presented. Nice homely touches as well as being stylish. Good kitchen facilities.
Coffee machine didn’t work but housekeeping offered to make one in a vacant room for us.
Excellent location
We stayed on a Sunday night and there was a lack of nearby hostelries serving food.
Views out of this world we will definitely be back
No breakfast but a lovely cafe nearby
Wonderful and relaxing location, very safe parking for our motorbikes. Very secure accommodation. We would definitely LOVE to return some day.
Unfortunately I got food poisoning at a nearby pub and am still recovering 6 days later; of course this has absolutely whatsoever to do with the accommodation, but it did ruin my holiday.
Location
Veey clean and shiny
The location was fantastic with wonderful views. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen with the complimentary breakfast was great.
It was all good
What a highlight on our Scotland trip!
This old custom house is located right at the Bowling Harbour and the river Clyde. It is the perfect place for a peaceful, quiet stay. It is located in between the beautiful nature of Loch Lomond and Glasgow.
The direct surrounding area is amazing, the harbour offers the prettiest views and walks.
The room is cozy and provides everything that is needed for a good stay. There are coffee, tea and cookies in the room, as well as a hair dryer. The room was very clean!
The community kitchen is so nicely decorated. Bread, cornflakes, jam, milk and good Nespresso coffee are there for all guests to have. If you are a guest, please remember to clean up after yourself, so everyone can enjoy the shared space.
The hotel is self check-in only. Check your messages after booking and have your phone ready to enter the door code.
Finding the hotel was easy with Google Maps, the directions provided were accurate. Be brave enough to take a sharp right turn into the narrow road in between the wall and hotel to reach the gate and parking.
The location it made you feel very chilled nice setting and to see the boats moored up it was lovely.
Nothing to dislike.
Good location if you want to avoid Loch Lomond
Room was small
Quirky and full of character.
Lots of nice touches and communal kitchen area great for interacting with other guests
Nothing
Staying in a property that had been very well renovated and had such a history as a Custom House in the Bowling Basin on the Clyde was so much better than a corporate hotel, the price was the same, the facilties were better. It had a communal kitchen where they supplied all you needed for breakfast. There was a microwave, kettle and coffee maker, you could make a basic meal. It had a quirky feel that made you feel you were welcome although we didn't see anyone. We had a bedroom with a river view on the top floor, it was worth the climb! The postiion on the lock was lovley for a stroll before setting of again. I would stay there again.
Nothing,
Great location, quiet, well appointed room.
