The location and ambience was good away from the city

Cons:

Our stay was from 5–8 July 2026, during which the management was hosting an international programme. It was evident that the resort’s services were stretched, and unfortunately, our experience was significantly compromised.
1. Food did not meet our expectations.
2. Parking and buggy service were highly inefficient. The parking area is quite far from the cottages, and getting a buggy was unnecessarily time-consuming. We had to call the reception, wait around 10 minutes, then go outside to inform the security staff, followed by another 10-minute wait.
3. If guests are expected to park their own vehicles, the minimum level of hospitality should be for a concierge to collect the luggage from the car, especially in the scorching heat.
4. Although Wi-Fi was available, the internet speed was far too slow. Videos kept buffering, and the claimed 30 Mbps simply wasn’t adequate.
5. We experienced frequent power cuts, which repeatedly interrupted our stay and when watching any programme.
6. Visiting the Hilltop was unnecessarily difficult. The buggy service was again slow both while going and returning. To make matters worse, my two young daughters and I were asked to sit at the back of the Innova so that some of your staff could occupy the front seats. That was disappointing and inappropriate. Frankly, there was little at the Hilltop to justify the effort. Since Cottage 3403 already had a private pool, there was nothing additional to look forward to there. The children’s play area also needs significant improvement if it is to be promoted as a family-friendly attraction.
7. The presence of uniformed police personnel at almost every corner of the property made the atmosphere feel more hostile than relaxing. My children felt uncomfortable, and we avoided exploring much.
8. The mini bar was empty despite being advertised. At the very least, it should have been stocked with a few beverages, chocolates, and nuts.
If I ever consider visiting agn, it wud be for cottage pool!
