Nice but aircon didn’t work and definitely not worth the money
Pros:

The location was excellent, right next to Ponte Vecchio. The breakfast had some great vegan options. The rooftop had nice views of the city and was a good place for an evening drink.

Cons:

Our aircon didn’t work, so we relied on the fan to keep us cool at night. I did ask for this to be fixed at reception but nothing happened. The aircon/fan unit also blinked an incredibly bright white light all night which kept us awake. The rooms are super clean but the property is very old (part of its charm I guess) but that meant extremely creaky floors and beds. All in all (and aircon aside) it was a nice hotel but definitely NOT worth the £1000 it cost us for 3 nights; I would have expected a lot better for that price!

Struttura storica molto curata, personale gentilissimo e proprietario che ci ha lasciato in regalo il suo libro un pensiero veramente originale e veramente un dono di qualcosa di suo 💓 apprezzatissimo. Il personale tutto molto gentile e attento a consigliarci. Colazione buona e variegata sia nella proposta del salato che dolci e bellissima la sala delle colazioni.🥰 l idea di poter salire sulla rocca medievale super e’ stata una scoperta e della bellissima vista su Firenze

Fabulous stay, excellent location and customer service, stunning views from the terrace!
Pros:

My stay was fabulous, i didn't expect the hotel to be that nice and the location was excellent and the best thing was the terrace. Stunning scenery, it overlooks the whole of Florence! It is a cozy and old-fashioned hotel, beautifully maintained. I would stay there again. One of the best things about it that it is located in a quiet beautiful street away from the crowds and the noise. Excellent customer service as well provided by all. I loved the special touch of leaving the book written by the author. My stay was great, a special thanks to the terrace hostess Sylvia for making my solo time at the terrace special.

Cons:

The only thing that I didn't like was the breakfast, the service was great but I didn't like the quality of the food and it becomes very crowded with limited space to sit. Next time I will opt out from breakfast

Enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel located in a perfect spot in Florence.

Amazing stay!
Pros:

The room was beautiful with old charm. I loved the dramatic floor-to-ceiling pink drapes. The details were quite lovely, from the key to even a free book from the owner about life in Italy for guests to take. As a librarian, this was such a nice and appreciated touch. We enjoyed spending golden hour on the rooftop with the most beautiful views. We had an enjoyable stay!

Everything was lovely. No complaints.
