An enjoyable stay overall.
Pros:

Fantastic location. Dutiful and knowledgeable staff. Went out of their way to assist me when I wanted to extend my stay.

Cons:

Toiletries. Not as top notch as the rest of the hotel. Towels could be cleaner and some may need replacement

Worst experience will never return

Our experience with Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

We booked and paid through Booking.com, but the hotel claimed they could not collect the payment. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, they asked us to make a bank transfer and provided a local bank account that could not even receive USD transfers properly.

As a result, our guest was left waiting for hours and was not allowed into the room until late at night. What shocked us most was the complete lack of basic hospitality — throughout the entire day, nobody even offered him a glass of water while he was waiting in the lobby.

Eventually, he paid separately for one night just to have a place to stay, yet the hotel still refused to process payment using an international credit card. Even worse, they later blocked his access to the room while all of his personal belongings were still inside. He was forced to spend the entire night in the lobby.

This level of treatment toward a guest is unacceptable. Poor communication, no empathy, no professionalism, and absolutely no customer care. We expected much better from a hotel of this level and would not recommend staying here.

Pros:

The staff were extremely helpful all throughout the stay and the breakfast selection was balanced with a curated mix of local and occidental food. Would highly recommend

The tap water was a bit muddy especially when we first arrived but apparently this is something common in Lagos

Safe, secure and welcoming stay in Lagos with excellent dining and a great waterfront location.
Pros:

Security was clearly a priority throughout the property and helped make the stay feel very safe and comfortable. Staff were consistently welcoming, professional and helpful. The waterfront location was spectacular, particularly around sunset, and the pool area was stunning and very relaxing. The buffet dining was excellent with a great selection of Nigerian food and international options. The hotel is also very well located within the diplomatic quarter of Lagos.

Cons:

The room had a slightly damp and musty smell at times, and the bathroom felt a little dated compared to the rest of the property. The air conditioning also struggled to get properly cold, which could be improved given the Lagos climate.

Comfortable and pleasant stay at a well-located hotel in Lagos.

gym, cleanliness, very good staff Good location, comfortable stay, clean rooms, and courteous staff. The property has a nice ambience and is convenient for business travel.

Rates, can get better when stay is longer. Overall stay was good. Some areas can be improved with faster service and better attention to small maintenance details.
