Pros:

Excellent Japanese hotel with a significant minority of foreigners also staying here. Included dinner and breakfast were wonderful, hotel onsen was comfortable. Pickup and return from ferry stations included for us too. The Great Torii is right outside!

Perfect hotel at a magical location!
Pros:

We enjoyed literally everything: the staff, the food, the service, the location and the experience of a Ryokan, with a Japanese room. The private Onsen in the room and the access to the lounge was just the cherry on top, for a family with a teen.

Very expensive for what it is. Hotel is very dated and old. Most expensive place we stayed at during our stay , and probably the worst. Hotel is old, has a musky smell to the rooms. I wouldn't recommend it go back
