Ein schönes und gepflegtes Hotel in sehr guter Lage
Pros:

Nach unserem Besuch der Inseln Faial und Pico verbrachten wir acht Tage im Mercure Hotel in Ponta Delgada. An der Rezeption wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen.
Das Hotelzimmer (Privilege-Room 428) hatte eine angenehme Größe mit einem Kingsize-Bett (hoher Komfort) und schöner Bettwäsche. Das Design des Zimmers ist sehr modern mit einem tollen Lichtkonzept. Ein großer Flat hängt über dem Schreibtisch. Viel Stauraum ist im Schrank vorhanden. Die Vorhänge verdunkeln das Zimmer sehr gut und die Balkontür führt auf einen möblierten Balkon. Es gibt eine Nespressomaschine, einen Wasserkocher sowie einen leisen Kühlschrank. Da die Klima-Anlage nicht direkt auf das Bett gerichtet ist, konnten wir Sie nachts laufen lassen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und werden täglich gereinigt. Es gab auch große Strandtücher.
Das elegante Badezimmer mit modernen wandhohen Fliesen verfügt über eine Regendusche, Föhn, Kosmetikspiegel, Kosmetiktücher, flauschige Handtücher sowie Shampoo, Conditioner, Duschgel und Bodylotion der frz. Beauty-Marke Nuxe zum Verwöhnen.
Der Pool hat eine angenehme Wärme und ich konnte täglich nach unseren langen Ausflügen schwimmen.
Das umfangreiche Frühstück konnte man Indoor oder auf der Terrasse unter den Sonnenschirmen einnehmen. Als Allergiker (Laktose/Fruktose) gab es auf dem Büfett laktosefreie Milch, Frischkäse ohne Laktose konnte ich täglich bestellen und frische Eierspeisen werden auf Wunsch zubereitet.
Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum und die Promenade, Restaurants und Geschäfte sind schnell erreichbar. Da der Parkplatz am Hotel ständig belegt war parkten wir in den umliegenden Straßen gratis oder gegen geringe Parkgebühren. Die Zufahrt zum Parkplatz ist nicht komfortabel, da der Kantstein viel zu hoch ist.
Vielen Dank für die köstliche Geburtstagstorte - eine nette Überraschung.
Das Hotel ist neu und hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Privilege-Zimmer ein Jahr im Voraus gebucht und bezahlt, trotzdem wollte man uns ein Zimmer in der 4. Etage direkt neben der Lüftungsanlage geben – den Balkon hätte man dadurch nicht nutzen können und bei offenen Fenster hätte man nicht schlafen können (Room 424, 425, 426). Nach einigen Diskussionen gab man uns widerwillig Room 428.
Wünschenswert sind Auflagen für die Liegen und weitere Sonnenschirme gegen die starke Sonnenstrahlung.

Der Willkommensdrink auf dem Foto im Fahrstuhl zeigt einen köstlichen Cocktail. In der Realität wurde uns an der Bar ein Likör auf Eis, ein Glas Rot- oder Weißwein angeboten oder Mineralwasser.

„Bitte keine Handtücher über die Brüstung hängen“ – so ein kleines Schild sollte auf dem Tisch auf dem Balkon stehen. Die schöne Hotelfront wird gestört und es ist keine Jugendherberge.

Bel établissement super bien placé et très confortable, bien équipé.

Chambre spacieuse, piscine et spa, petit déjeuner et dîner en terrasse

Cons:

Le parking exigu et trop plein, un mariage bruyant le samedi soir, l’obligation de port d’un bonnet de bain que j’ai dû acheter un ayant oublié le mien (je trouve cela normal d’en porter un)… alors que personne n’en portait et que cette consigne n’était pas “enforced” (autant ne pas l’indiquer !), les lampes de table en terrasse qui ne marchent jamais.

Super Hotel im Zentrum von Ponta Delgada
Pros:

Die Unterkunft war sehr modern und sauber. Der Pool war auch sehr schön und die Lage war perfekt falls man kein Auto hat.

Cons:

Das Frühstück hätte etwas besser sein können. Nicht viel Auswahl an Brot und gegen 10h wurde auch nicht mehr alles nachgefüllt.

O alojamento está bem localizado, as instalações são boas.

Cons:

Na reserva estava dito que o hotel garantia estacionamento, o que não é verdade uma vez que que tive que pagar do meu bolso dois dias num parque de estacionamento perto (o qual o hotel poderia ter alguma parceria).
O quarto com os miúdos era virado para a rua, sendo que as 06h da manhã havia muito barulho.
