We stayed here for our last night in Sri Lanka before catching our flight back to the UK. It was a perfect place for us to stay and we were looked after so well by the staff. We had excellent communication with them from the point of booking to arrival and we really appreciated that they organised our transport to the airport for us. It made everything really easy for us.
We arrived after a long day travelling from the east coast and the welcome was lovely. We received welcome drinks which we really appreciated and we were able to cool off in the gorgeous pool before a walk down to see the beach and to fit in some last minute souvenir shopping! The hotel location is excellent. It is really close to the beach and shops and the area felt very safe.
I'm not sure if the photos on booking.com are fully up to date as the pool area has recently been refurbished and is actually much more lovely than the photos give credit. I will include some below. It is a lovely pool!!
We were so impressed by the thought that has gone into the design and decoration of the hotel. It is really so beautiful. So much detail and care has gone into it. Nearly every corner is hand painted with beautiful Sri Lankan art work. The ceilings, the doors, the furniture. It is really beautiful. We absolutely loved that. I have included a photo of the ceiling in our room!
We dined at their own restaurant 'The Tusk' which we highly recommend. The food and service was absolutely excellent, and the restaurant is beautiful. It is so gorgeous. They will look after you so well. We had a really lovely last evening here. We were sorry we couldn't stay another night and explore Negombo a bit more.
Istuti to the team at Blue Elephant for making our last evening in Sri Lanka really special for us.
The dinner food in the restaurant was delicious.

L’hôtel est vraiment magnifique et bien placé, la chambre très confortable, et le restaurant très bon. Les équipes sont également aux petits soins.
Habitaciones espaciosas, piscina agradable y buena comida.
Puedes ir a pies hasta la carretera principal con tiendas de souvenirs y restaurantes. El personal y el dueño son súper amables. No llegaba la cobertura a internet en la habitación ni en el comedor, aún así el sitio es súper agradable y recomendable!
L’alloggio è un oasi tranquilla e curatissima a Negombo, personale eccezionale ottima per staccare dalla vita frenetica della città.
Colazione al tavolo, buona e abbondante. Staff super cordiale e disponibile anche per organizzare attività.
Una menzione speciale va al ristorante della struttura “Tusk” il miglior ristorante di pesce di tutto lo Sri Lanka, lo chef ogni giorno all’alba si procura il pesce per la giornata, proponendo piatti in funzione di quello che viene preso al mercato. Lasciatevi guidare nella scelta.
Consiglio alla struttura una piccola attenzione in più sulla pulizia delle lenzuola e una gestione diversa dell’acqua calda, risolvendo questi aspetti si raggiunge uno standard alberghiero europeo.

Staff should tell guests where the mosquito net is when they check in. We arrived late and didn’t realise there was one, when we mentioned at check out they said it is in wardrobe.
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, great breakfast.
