My recent stay at Axel Beach Mykonos was absolute perfection from start to finish. Everything about the experience was amazing, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional level of hospitality.
From the moment I arrived, the reception team made me feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Maria Junei,, and Stefano—they were consistently kind, super helpful, and always ready to assist with a warm smile.
The breakfast was beyond impressive! As someone who appreciates healthy and protein-rich options, I was thrilled by the variety and quality offered, including the delicious à la carte selection included with the meal. Angela (Aggeliki) and Marios provided fantastic, attentive service every morning, making breakfast a daily highlight.
In general, every staff member at Axel is remarkably attentive. They have a true gift for hospitality—they literally anticipate your needs the moment you look up!
Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful stay, and a special thanks for the lovely gift at checkout. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Mykonos!
Our stay at Axel Beach Mykonos was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with great architecture, modern design, and everything exactly as shown in the pictures. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The pool is simply amazing, we loved spending time there every day, whether to relax or just enjoy the atmosphere.
The location is also perfect: just about a 15-minute walk from Mykonos Town, making it easy to enjoy the city while staying somewhere peaceful.
But what truly made this place special was the staff. Every single person, from the reception team to the breakfast staff and the bar, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They didn't just provide great service; they made us feel at home. It's rare to find a team where every single person contributes to such a positive atmosphere, and they truly made this stay unforgettable.
I honestly can't think of a single negative thing to say about this hotel. Thank you to the whole Axel Beach Mykonos team for making our holiday so special. We can't wait to come back!

The only suggestion we’d have is to have Axel’s fantastic drag shows on a bit more often. They were such a highlight of our stay, so much fun, full of energy and brilliantly entertaining. We’d definitely love to see even more of them on future visits!

We really enjoyed the overall vibe and atmosphere of the hotel. It has a great energy and is the perfect place to relax while still feeling connected to the Mykonos party scene. Most of the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool is absolutely perfect and was one of the highlights of the hotel. The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice, and we loved the music and playlist around the pool, which created a great atmosphere all day long.
The main downside was the location. Getting to Mykonos Town isn’t easy, and the hotel is not very accessible on foot. Finding a reasonably priced taxi was almost impossible, with fares of around €40 for a 1.5 km ride, while the hotel charges €45 for an airport transfer, even though the airport is also only 1.5 km away. For a 5-star hotel, we believe a complimentary shuttle service to Mykonos Town is essential. Many other hotels in the area already provide this service, and it makes a huge difference for guests staying outside the town center.
We also felt uncomfortable with the tipping situation. We were happy to tip the staff who served us during our stay, but at check-out the reception staff explicitly asked us to leave them a tip as well. Considering the price of the rooms, we believe Axel should pay its employees fairly instead of putting guests in the position of being asked directly for additional tips.
Axel beach was amazing! room was perfect and defs appreciated the upgrade. Beds are comfy and enough space in the shower for a group, which was cheeky. The environment was very manicured, clean, aesthetically pleasing. I did stay here at pre preak season, so not alot was happening but my overall experience was amazing! buffet breakfast helped for the hangovers too. and its just a short walk to the centre of mykonos town which was amazing! Will recommend to everyone!
The gym could of used some A/C or open windows and maybe an upgrade on the equipment.

Tudo perfeito e limpo. O quarto espaçoso e a cama deliciosa. Pegamos o quarto com varanda e vista para o mar e tb tinha vista lateral para a piscina. Os funcionários foram muito gentis, especialmente a Ângela (restaurante) e a Maria (recepção).
A piscina é espetacular, tudo novinho e o serviço de bar excelente
