Ruhig gelegenes Hotel und doch mitten im Geschehen
Pros:

Der Check-in und Check-out verliefen unkompliziert und schnell. Alle Angestellten waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut: Der Strand befindet sich nur 1 km entfernt. Das North Pattaya Bus Terminal ist etwa 3,5 km, der Bahnhof rund 3,6 km und das Bali Hai Pier 3,1 km entfernt. Besonders praktisch – auch für den Notfall – ist die Nähe zum Pattaya City Hospital, das nur ca. 400 m weit weg ist.
Am Abend bietet die unmittelbare Umgebung eine große Auswahl an Bars mit und ohne Live-Musik. Die Soi Buakhao mit der LK Metro ist ca. 400 m, die Walking Street 1,7 km sowie die Soi 6, 7 & 8 nur 1,2 bis 2 km entfernt. Zahlreiche gute Restaurants und Street-Food-Stände befinden sich überall in der direkten Nachbarschaft des Hotels. Auch die Nachtmärkte sind definitiv einen Besuch wert: Der Tree Town Night Market (ca. 500 m entfernt) schließt um 4 Uhr, der Runway Night Market hat bis um 1 Uhr geöffnet. Es gibt noch zahlreiche weitere Märkte in etwas größerer Entfernung, die ebenfalls bis in die Morgenstunden geöffnet haben.
Die Zimmer sind zwar schon etwas älter, aber es mangelt ihnen an nichts. Die Wände waren zwar ein wenig hellhörig, aber in den Nachbarzimmern war glücklicherweise niemand übertrieben laut. Die Matratze im Bett war recht hart – ich persönlich empfand das als sehr angenehm, da ich es von zu Hause genauso gewohnt bin.
Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel – nicht nur in den Zimmern – war durchgehend sehr gut. Das Hotel selbst punktet mit einem exzellenten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und einer Top-Lage in einer Seitenstraße. Das täglich angebotene Frühstücksbuffet war lecker und abwechslungsreich, mit einer gelungenen Auswahl an europäischen und asiatischen Speisen. Auch Sonderwünsche beim Frühstück wurden immer mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit und einem Lächeln direkt an den Tisch gebracht.

Cons:

Beim Frühstück, das von 7:00 Uhr bis 10:00 Uhr angeboten wird, wäre eine Verlängerung der Zeiten wünschenswert – beispielsweise bis 12:00 Uhr. Da das Hotel mitten im Nachtleben von Pattaya liegt und man entsprechend gelegentlich später aufsteht, habe ich persönlich dadurch leider einige der sehr guten Frühstücksbuffets verpasst.
Zudem waren die Auflagen für die Poolliegen leider nur in einer sehr begrenzten Stückzahl vorhanden. Aus diesem Grund habe ich es mir dann lieber direkt am Strand bequem gemacht.

Pros:

The location was good although Google Maps need to update their directions. The room was big and the bed and pillows good. I wanted breakfast, but it didn't start until 7am and I had to check out at 6.30am.

Cons:

The water in my room was turned off. After it was turned back on, the bathroom had a bad leak meaning that there was water all over the floor, creating a slip hazard. There were no instructions on how to use the (very old) safe.

Changed rooms twice, first room was filthy and terrible smell like sewage. Staff changed room to different building and that room smelt like mould and dust. It was raining and water was coming in from the balcony door seals. We asked for a refund and they refused. We left and found a better hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it

Excellent value for money hotel in a great location with friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Pros:

Great Hotel due to its location and staff who were all very helpful. This is an excellent value for money hotel. My room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good with a variation of food to satisfy all cultures. I would book this hotel again.

Cons:

I checked in at approx 2200 Hrs and I was allocated a room in Building A which is on the 3rd Road side of the hotel. The noise from loud motor bikes and cars on 3rd Road made it difficult for me to sleep. Given that I was staying a total of 13 days, the next morning I requested a quiet room and was allocated a room in Building C which was very quiet. The only other issue I found was that the mattress on the bed was very firm and despite requesting a mattress topper it did not improve the comfort.
