Everything was great. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it. Facilities clean and well maintained
Like to have a beer with tea and the restaurant doesn't have it on the menu but realised you could order a beer and it would be brought down from the bar
After an accident that happened outside the hotel, we had to extend our stay for a few extra days while a family member recovered. Throughout this difficult period, the entire Damai team was incredibly supportive and made us feel at home.
We needed a wheelchair during our stay, which the hotel kindly provided, and we found all the facilities to be very accessible. Moving around the resort and even inside our room was easy and comfortable.
We are truly grateful to the staff and the hotel facilities, which were a great help during a challenging time for our family. Thank you for your kindness, care, and support.
The restaurant improves a lot,since I was first check in in March 2026,food more tasty. The staff also quite helpful all the time of my stay. Overall...i have to give a thumbs up...thank you

The hazardous air quality caused by the palm oil forest burn offs ! We felt sorry for the locals & holiday makers.
J'aurais aimé faire quelques compliments sur la vue et la piscine mais notre accueil s'est très mal passé.
L'accueil nous a laissé un mauvais souvenir.
Nous avions réservé pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants et nous nous sommes retrouvés avec un seul lit pour 4.
On devait payer un supplément de 130E pour mettre un lit supplémentaire.
Après un demi-journée d'explications puis un fort énervement, au moment d'aller nous coucher, épuisés et tard dans la soirée, nous avons été changés de chambre.
Beaucoup de groupes bruyants le week-end. Et les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées.
Le petit déjeuner n'est pas bon.
The room was big. The breakfast had an excellent selection. There are a lot of activities that the resort offers. The TV had a selection of movies that we could watch which made the stay very pleasant
The AC was set at one temperature and we couldn't control it. The coconut bar could benefit more non alcoholic options. The pool may have needed more maintenance
Location is wonderful. Very clean beach and excellent ambience. The location you cannot beat. We have been to a few beachside properties but the high tide and low tide effect we saw for the first time up close. Kids loved the mini water slide and the pool. Rooms are spacious and clean. We couldn't explore the resort fully as were busy wth the beach and swimming pool but all amenities were nicely managed and appeared fine. The breakfast spread is vast. They have a lot of options for everyone. The best breakfast menu I have ever seen! They also have a kids' breakfast spread, which is liked by not just kids but adults as well. Staff is also very courteous and helpful. Some of the family members are vegetarians and the dinner menu on the first day felt limited, but the Resort's General Manager was very helpful and instructed the chef to prepare veg pizza, which was really wonderful.
The only request is to add a few more vegetarian options to the dinner menu.
The beautiful views, it was very quiet and tranquil. Definitely a place for relaxing, but wouldn’t spend more than a few nights here as there is nothing to do.
Aircon in the bedrooms worked well and it had a good tv system with new films available.
The facilities it advertised most of them were shut or not in use. Bars and restaurants and gym not open, no sports available. The pool was dirty with green algae on the tiles. The evening food was not good and only one restaurant option open. The hotel had hundreds of rooms but was eerily empty, like a ghost town. It is a 5 min walk to another beach and ghost town with closed restaurants and 2 small convenience stores. There were more staff than guests staying in the hotel, but still the service for everything was very slow. We had food one night and even though we were only 1 of 2 tables eating in there mine and my partners food still came out 10 minutes apart. We only saw about 6 different groups/couples staying the same nights as us and out of the 300+ rooms we still had to wait 45 minutes for our room to be ready for us on arrival.
A great experience living in a treehouse. Room was spacious with own toilet and shower. The bonus is the patio with chairs providing an awesome view of the sea.
We asked for an extra mattress. The person who slept on that mattress had red bites on his legs the next day.
Die Lage ist top! Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte hier und dort ein paar Renovierungen... der Pool ist riesig und hat einen tollen Panoramablick!
Das Personal war freundlich.
Lediglich im Restaurant waren oft viele Angestellte mit wenig zu tun und wenig Interesse an den wenigen Gästen. Schade!
2 nice pools, nice large beach to walk, very close to the cultural village that we would really recommend spending a couple of hours at least.
Staff we interacted with they were all helpful and did their best.
Breakfast had decent options but something was off, maybe they did not use good quality ingredients. Same feeling for the dinner we had in the same restaurant.
Some areas of the resort seemed to be needing of renovation works, some just seem like nobody cleaned there for ages ( space inbetween stairs to the rooms )

La localisation cachée dans un écrin de verdure au bord de la plage, la grande piscine vu sur la mer, la piscine pour enfants très bien pensée. Chambre très propre, spacieuse, literie confortable. Très bon petit déjeuner. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour !
La localisation au Damai près de la mer. La piscine avec la vue. Le confort des chambres.
