Alles was hier goed! Wij verbleven er 3 nachten en hebben het echt heerlijk gehad. Je ligt met je bedje letterlijk aan het strand, en met hoogtij zit je zo goed als aan zee 😃
Het personeel is ontzettend behulpzaam en helpt je overal mee. Een paar kilometer verderop kun je heerlijk surfen en ze brengen je er zo naartoe én halen je ook weer op. Je wordt helemaal ontziend. Wij hebben erg genoten!

The room was very spacious, clean and had a nice sea view. We informed them of our breakfast preference (strictly vegetarian) and they had us order ala carte. Food was tasty, we loved the string hoppers and coconut sambal. They gave us a bread basket, fruits etc. Pancakes and French toast was also good. They did not have a buffet when we went but our breakfast was great anyway, so no problems there. Good value for money compared to other properties we stayed at in Srilanka. The place is very close to Coconut tree hill which is known for its sunset views.

Das Sandy Bliss ist ein grundsätzlich schönes Hotel am Rand von Mirissa, das über einen Pool und direkten Strandzugang verfügt. Der Pool ist zwar nicht außergewöhnlich, zum Abkühlen aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Der Strandabschnitt direkt am Hotel ist hingegen weniger attraktiv, da sich dort viele Felsen im Wasser befinden. Dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts, am etwa 15 Gehminuten entfernten Mirissa Beach ist man jedoch deutlich besser aufgehoben.

Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam, stellenweise fast etwas zu sehr. Ich persönlich brauche beim Frühstück keinen Kellner, der mir nach jedem zweiten Schluck Wasser sofort das Glas nachschenkt. Wir haben im Hotel nur gefrühstückt – das war soweit in Ordnung.

Everything was fabulous!! We stayed in the Presidential Suite which was amazing! The views from our room of the beach and the sunset were fab. The staff and manager are very friendly and can't do enough to help you..... Breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh fruit, pancakes and omelettes/eggs cooked to order. Highly recommend.

Sea view is the best

We stayed in the presidential suite and it did not disappoint! The room was huge with panoramic views from our wrap around balcony (with jet pool).

The staff were very attentive and friendly, and put on a Sri Lankan cultural night with local food and dancers.

Location was excellent and right on the beach, only a few minutes walk from anywhere in Mirissa.

The location is beautiful and very convenient to visit all the nearby attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The food was excellent with a great variety, and the staff provided outstanding hospitality throughout our stay.

Everything from the service to the overall experience was top quality.

Highly recommended, and I will definitely visit again next year!

I had a wonderful stay at Sandy Bliss Mirissa. The hotel is brand new, very clean, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and offer stunning sea views from every room. The bathrooms are very clean and spacious, with high-quality body care products provided.

The food was excellent, with a great variety in the breakfast buffet. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They communicate well in English and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

One of the highlights was being able to enjoy both sunrise and sunset perfectly from the room. The hotel is also within walking distance to Parrot Rock and Coconut Tree Hill, which we could even see from the property.

The beach in front of the hotel is exceptional—very clean and safe for swimming. We were lucky to see turtles swimming nearby, which was an amazing experience. The pool, including the jacuzzi, was also very clean and well maintained.

The hotel also arranged activities for us, including whale watching and a Yala safari, which made our trip even more memorable.

I will definitely visit again and highly recommend Sandy Bliss Mirissa to anyone looking for a perfect Mirissa experience. It is truly great value for money.
