What a gorgeous surprise in the heart of Sydney. The interior design is sublime, the location excellent and the staff were friendly, witty and tremendously helpful. The Aesop products were a delightful indulgence. I cannot wait to return 😍

The room could have been a little cleaner, mirror and surfaces were dusty and floor needed a thorough vacuum.
The only downside was the lack of parking, my wife I didn't feel super safe with leaving the car and was constantly thinking about the car. Valet parking would be great to have as an option. Or forget the car and use public transport.

I come to Sydney lots and it is so lovely to have people at the desk when you arrive which happens in so few smaller hotels these days.
The rooms are stunning, beds and pillows are so luxurious and comfy.
I love the decor and the bathrooms, just those luxuries like the LED vanity mirror and the dyson hairdryer.
Literally nothing. I would stay there every time I come but I have a budget as I have to cover all my own travel. But I always look out for it and chose it every time when the price is right for me.
I absolutely loved the decor in this cute boutique hotel. The staff are so friendly. They gave me a lovely bottle of Rose for my birthday. I was able to use the yellow and white Italian vibe courtyard to have bubbles with my family (visiting) and my mum couldn't use stairs, so she was able to go the side door to enter.
My niece and I loved Myles the local cat. He is very dapper and he loved visiting us.

Incredible hospitality - the team at Medusa made us feel at home. It was a surprise trip for my girlfriend's birthday & they upgraded us, had the room ready early & left a bottle of rose for her. All around wonderful stay & could not recommend more!
We really enjoyed our stay at Medusa Hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was clean, stylish and well presented. It’s in a fantastic location and was a great place to relax after exploring Sydney.
There were a few small things that could have improved the experience. The main light in the room wasn’t working, which made it quite difficult to see when unpacking or repacking luggage, especially as the room was designed with a darker, “moody” feel. The seating area shown on the website and in the photos also didn’t match what was provided, the chairs weren’t there, just a standalone table, which made that area impractical.
The blackout blinds also didn’t fully block out the outside light, so the room was still quite bright at night and again in the morning. During the turn-down service, the tea and coffee supplies were also not replenished.
All staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, stylish and very comfortable.
I know they can’t help it, but the only disadvantage is no parking.
