Staff were very friendly and helpful, it was a very comfortable one night stay.
The ambience was perfect, the pub area was smart but at the same time cosy.
Rooms were modern and clean, with wonderful comfy beds, we all slept like logs.
The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help.
The food was tasty and freshly cooked, the wine list is extensive.
I'm being very picky here but the coffee at breakfast was poor and the water provided to make the tea wasn't hot enough.
Food was great. Staff friendly
The dirty carpets on landing outside room 4 filthy. Bath with chips out. Dogs barking and allowed where food is. Room poor value for money no wardrobe! Just a rail. they said they were closing later in year- thats no good when they are charging me top prices for small room that looked tired with paper peeling off ceiling i have pictures.
Great location for exploring Chatsworth and Bakewell with good bus connections
Staff wonderful ,good food which was value for money
Location
Bus stop - in view from hotel
No view from room chosen but loved the ground floor option
Lovely outdoor areas to sit in. Very pleasant hotel
Nothing
Great location, comfy beds and lovely staff
It’s just very expensive at £200 per night
Lovely hotel and the staff were exceptional
Location. Staff.
Decoration of room.
Some of the staff were friendly others less so.
Very disappointing stay - the room was small and stuffy. The price was expensive for the quality of the room and service.
Fab position and friendly staff
Nothing 😊
The staff were super friendly , the evening bar food was beautifully presented and delicious - the rooms had comfortable beds, nice sheets and nice little touches in room.
The rooms themselves were old and a bit cramped and decor a bit dated , floors very creaky and uneven , the breakfast was not good
Food was delicious and good sized portions for breakfast. All the staff were friendly and very helpful when we had requests. Beautiful room and large tea selection!
The Inn was very clean and the bed was very comfortable . I liked the finishing little touch like the complimentary tipple for a nightcap, wellies, maps etc.
The food was very nice and well priced, good selection of items on the menu. Breakfast was cooked to order and not the cattle market buffets you get at some hotels. I asked for coriander and lime with the avocado on toast with eggs and was supplied no problem.
The staff were very attentive at all times and nothing was too much trouble. we were concerned about noise with this being an Inn, but last orders were 9:30 pm which was great so not noisy at all and had a good nights sleep.
There were tables outside for a breath of fresh air either at the front or the back of the Inn and plenty of room to park the car. Great location just 10 min drive to Chatsworth house and 5 mins to the Chatsworth farm shop, which we visited.
Bakewell is also very close by so the Inn is ideally positioned for sight seeing and will be looking to stay again and recommend the inn highly.
Everything was very nice , there was nothing not to like to be honest.
Clean, welcoming, staff were all very friendly and accommodating
