A badly managed, over priced, and underinvested hotel; the only redeeming factor are the lovely staff.
Pros:

The staff are lovely, the bed was comfortable, food was OK.

Cons:

It’s a crumbling 3 star hotel in desperate need of investment. The rooms are tatty and the bathrooms awful - greying sealant, rusty shower pole, plastic shower curtains, fraying towels and no bath mat. The rooms feel dirty - but not because of housekeeping (who I think do a good job) but because the underlying product is so tired.

The in room safe is complicated to use, and there are no instructions. I had to call for help.

Two days before arrival I asked the hotel to arrange a transfer, but despite chasing they never replied. In the end there was a driver waiting, but it would have been nice not to have landed unsure. Comically I did get confirmation the next day!

On check in, although it was 15.00 and my check in time was 14.00, I had to wait until 16.00 for the room. This happens, so that in itself wasn’t a huge deal.

What really annoyed me was check out morning; I was called at 10.30 and asked when I was checking out. Two things here - what hotel has a check out as early as 10? Secondly my booking confirmation clearly showed a check out time of noon.

And all this for the equivalent of USD 200 per night.
