Me gustó la ubicación y que el desayuno tipico estaba bueno.

Cons:

Habian hormigas en la habitación. No habia ni un perchero o armario pequeño para poner la ropa porque no hay espacio para abrir las maletas en el suelo. Ademas, monteverde es un sitio muy lluvioso y no habia nada para colgar la ropa mojada. Tampoco para lavarla. Además, no habia aire acondicionado y habia que mantener cerradas las ventanas porque entraba la lluvia. Podria haber mas variedad en el desayuno, si te quedas unos cuantos dias, es muy repetitivo.

I liked the room, it was spacious and had good storage in both the bathroom and the bedroom. Liked the hot shower also. Breakfast was just ok, quite basic (rice, eggs, cheese and a piece of fruit) but for the price I paid more than adequate. It was great that they had the monteverde cloud reserve shuttle do pick ups and drop offs directly at the hotel as well as various other tours available to be booked directly at the hotel at the same price (or better) that you could find at the agencies. Clean drinking water from the tap is available as well as use of the kitchen, which were both bonuses. Well placed in my opinion for the restaurants, grocery stores and bus station (albeit a very short uphill walk).

Cons:

Could have benefited from a fan for the room as it did get very hot. While I'm able to sleep through road noise which actually wasn't even bad in the room that I was staying, the walls between rooms are thin - I could here the person in the next room snoring and any conversations or til toks videos being played late into the night could also easily be heard so if that bothers you then bring ear plugs and maybe play some white or brown noise to drown it out (which did the trick for me). Communication before and after booking could have been better - via booking.com and email, responses were delayed or no response received at all, until I was able to get the WhatsApp number which then communication was a lot better, quicker etc.
