Very disappointing experience.

* There were cockroaches in the room.
* The receptionist was rude and not helpful when we reported the issues.
* There was chewing gum stuck around the room, which made it feel dirty and poorly maintained.
* We were given a room that was not the one we had booked.

The receptionist was so sweet, helpful and thoughtful.
She wrote me after we left to warn me about flooding on the road to La Fortuna.

Best receptionist ever.

Cons:

We decided to arrive a day early and couldn't move our two day stay one day forward. But once we paid the day we arrived earlier they offered us to change it cause we wanted to upgrade second day to a room with own toilet. However it was unclear if they would accept one day instead of two and I wouldn't prepay yet more days.

So that was all a mess also cause communication was difficult with the owner.

But to be fair they have a no cancel policy.

It would just have been nice to save the money since we only wanted to move our stay not cancel it.

Very convenient hostel

Very well located.

Rebecca, the receptionist, was very kind and gentle; she always had a smile on her face. It's nice to have friendly people at reception.i would stay again

I was charged twice for one room and they haven't refund me yet. They've sent me to a different address to ask for a refund instead of fixing their mistake and provide a decent customer service

Muy buena opción para los viajeros con poco presupuesto
Pros:

Muy cómoda y acogedora habitación, justo en el centro de Santa Elena, a pesar de estar en un lugar céntrico fue muy tranquilo, la habitación tiene un buen espacio para viajeros solos, todo limpio, la cama muy cómoda, tiene agua caliente, ofrecen dos tipos de desayuno, todo muy limpio y ordenado

Cons:

El desayuno estaba muy salado, y lástima que el check out es muy temprano, uno quisiera dormir un poquito más en el clima de Monteverde jeje

Pros:

Una excelente opción en el centro, cerca de todo, es sencillo y cómodo, para una estadía que solo requieres un lugar para descansar es una buena opción. El desayuno estuvo muy rico!
