The facility/ hotel was excellent

Cons:

Some of the reception staff dont know about customer service and they are the face of the hotel. They need retraining in this regard.

The breakfast service was divine. And the room was nice and spacious.

Cons:

My room did not have a microwave and the fridge only stocked one bottle of water even though we were two people sharing one room.

The staff is friendly

Cons:

Paying over R1,000 for a room and still having to pay extra for breakfast is simply unacceptable to me. Food is an essential part of hospitality, and at that price, I would expect breakfast to be included. The deal advertised on Booking.com is presented as a special, yet once breakfast is added separately, the total cost is essentially the normal price. That is misleading and defeats the purpose of offering a special in the first place. For me, this was a deal-breaker. A special should offer genuine value for money, not create the impression of a discount while charging extra for basic hospitality.
