Very nice large room. Air conditioning was great as it was 38c. Large bathroom. I loved the themed decor
Very good cream tea.
Sound insulation between rooms poor
Location
Lack of a bat area without being in a separate room as lacks atmosphere
Lovely location and stayed there before but complete contrast this visit
Was given a Mews room over the laundry area so very noisy with trolleys. Also no water in the property for morning shower or wash, could not clean teeth. No compensation offered.
Very elegant
The bill was a muddle
Very stately and well looked after. I loved the car chargers, as were so easy to use. (Hotels should make more of an effort to advertise their existence and specify if one needs to bring their own hose or not.)
I was disappointed that the formal dining room wasn’t available for dinner. Also, a/c in the room would have been wonderful. It was a hot night.
The location, the house, the room, the restaurant, the staff (we loved! Particularly in the bar and we loved that they loved their jobs).
We were a little concerned about privacy and whether we were being overlooked from the room opposite when we opened the curtains. We were in La Bibliotheque.
A wonderful majestic country house hotel set overlooking a beautiful lake like pond
Le cadre et l’aspect historique c’est magnifique
Le prix du resto est un peu haut
Great location
No lift
Grounds, building
Some younger staff at restaurent not professional and service very slow
Nice to look at
The whole place is staffed by children. They were very nice but largely the incompetent. The restaurant is horrific!
Beautiful grounds.
N/A
Nice setting and interiors
No pool
Characterful property
Most of the staff were exceptional, needed a better greeting on the front desk.
AC was limited
