On request we do also offer half board for our hotel guests. The restaurant will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, only open for hotel breakfast.

Que le restaurant soit fermé pour vacances la veille de notre arrivée

Perfect hotel to visit Luzern or as stopover on longer trips.
Pros:

Great hotel in perfect location to visit Luzern or as stopover whilst traveling further south or north. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and it was very nice to be able to have it out on the terrace with a view of the lake and mountains. People at reception were really very nice, giving all the necessary tips and hints for our first visit of Luzern. There is a busstop in front of the hotel that brings you to the city center in 15 min, bus passes every 10 min and it's free with the guestcard. Way better to stay here a bit outside of the city with free parking, rather than being in the chaos of the city and have to pay for expensive parking. We will for sure book here again when visiting the area or on our way to Italy.

Pros:

Utrolig venligt og imødekommende personale. Rengøringen var i top. Meget bekvemmeligt med gratis bus til og fra Luzern.

Cons:

Har ikke noget med hotellet at gøre, men et dyrt land at holde ferie i. 1200,- per person for at komme op på Pilatus.
Dagligvare er op til 50% dyrere end i DK., men et fantastisk flot land med en venlig befolkning.

Great hotel in a beautiful city.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and we had a great view of the mountains. While there was no AC, fans were provided. The breakfast was very good and staff was really friendly. The bus stop was right outside the hotel, so it was very convenient to get to the city center.

Cons:

Thinner blankets would have been good given that it was summer and there was no air conditioning.

В номерах грязно и душно, уборка не моет пол, он прям грязный, видно что на нем ходили в грязной обуви. Всю ночь соседи сверху шумели, администрация не предприняла никаких действий

The Hotel Balm made a perfect home base for our family while visiting Lucerne and we can’t wait to return.
Pros:

My family of four (two adults, two teens) stayed here and it was the perfect spot for our trip to Lucerne. The hotel is just outside the main part of town but is an easy bus ride to all sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants. Breakfast out on the terrace every morning was lovely and relaxing. The room was spacious and well appointed. The hotel staff were so kind and helpful with any questions we had. There is a complimentary coffee and tea station in the lobby and it was wonderful to come in from a full day of sightseeing and grab an espresso to take to the room. The pool area is lovely and includes a spectacular view of the mountainside. We would gladly stay here again when visiting Lucerne.

Pros:

L'accueil et les services étaient impeccables, le petit déjeuner vue sur la montagne et le lac était très bon et copieux. La piscine est un vrai plus. La propreté excellente.

Cons:

Dans la chambre familiale nous avons eu chaud malgré le ventilateur, nous avons donc ouvert les fenêtres mais nous avons été dérangé par le bruit de la route.
