Hotel carino un un panorama stupendo
Pros:

Cons:

The apartment was away from the main hotel, across by the carpark which i did not like as it was in a block where it was obvious that people lived there. There were horns blowing in the morning, which I guessed was those who lived there being picked up for work. Also there was work being done at the apartment so sound of saws etc going from about 8am. Also the doors were so creeky in the apartment if one person went to the bathroom during the night it woke everyone else. It was so hot when we stayed and the apartment windows only opened the slightest wee bit so it was like a sauna and hotel had no fans to give us, heat was very uncomfortable and very hard to sleep with

2 nights in apartment.
Pros:

The apartment was spacious and had kitchen if you wanted to go self catering. And a box freezer. Easily accommodate 2 couples. Staff , particulary house keeping were very friendly .
Being on the golf course was an advantage..if your into golf. We availed of the practise range . Food in the resteraunt was very good.Chicken Salad was particulary good.
Staff sorted out a problem that happened with the apartment, dealt with it well and we were left happy.

Cons:

We originally wanted to be in the hotel building, but glad of the apartment that was just a short walk and up stairs as there was a wedding on.
It wasn't as much castle as I'd hoped on the hotel grounds...
..but we did walk to the ruins.
Overpriced for accomodation...as everywhere seems to be these days.

Lovely hotel, great views & location.
Pros:

Great location, so close to Sligo town yet you’re out in the beautiful countryside with lovely views of the distance mountains and of course the golf course. Room was lovely which was in the old part of the hotel. There’s also a driving range which is a nice addition.

Cons:

We had a mixed experience during our stay. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations, and we were really disappointed to find the spa and thermal suite completely closed for the entire duration of our visit.

Additionally, the bar area fell a bit flat. While it boasts a lovely view, the setup feels more like a formal restaurant than a bar. There are no soft, comfortable furnishings to relax in—just dining tables set up for meals, which made it feel too formal for a casual drink.

Great space in the apartments. Lovely breakfast.

Cons:

Couldn’t close the apartment door as the door was sticking. Interior doors sticking also. Shower tiles should be regrouted.
