Buena ubicación y cama cómoda
Pros:

La habitación está muy bien. La cama es cómoda y el alojamiento está bien ubicado respecto al pier de Santa Monica.

Cons:

El desayuno es escaso en variedad, sólo había un embutido, la niña echó de menos las tortitas con nutela y no había ni un crosant de chocolate.

Mooi hotel op de foto maar voor ons was het een teleurstellend verblijf. Zeker geen 4 sterren hotel!
Pros:

Het personeel was enorm vriendelijk en het hotel was verzorgd en schoon.
De locatie t.o.v. de pier en het strand van Santa Monica

Cons:

Wij hadden ruim van te voren een "double bedroom" kamer geboekt met 2 tweepersoon bedden voor ruim €2.100,- voor ons gezin van 5 personen.
Een paar dagen voordat wij zouden arriveren ontvingen wij een persoonlijke aanbieding voor een kamer upgrade. Hier hadden wij wel interesse in, zeker omdat de aanbieding gunstig geprijsd was.
Helaas bleek bij aankomst dat er geen upgrade beschikbaar was.

Eenmaal op onze kamer aangekomen bleken de tweepersoons bedden erg klein. ( +/- 1,30M breed) waardoor samen slapen voor volwassenen praktisch onmogelijk was.
Daarnaast kregen wij een kamer die naast de oprit van de Highway 10 lag. De Highway 10 is echt een hele drukke snelweg.
De kamer bleek niet goed geïsoleerd waardoor we 's nachts heel veel geluid hoorde van de snelweg.

We zijn terug naar receptie gegaan met deze 2 punten met de vraag of ze voor ons een oplossing hadden. We werden vriendelijk te woord gestaan en we kregen 3 (onbruikbare) oplossingen.
1. Op de wachtlijst voor een andere kamer met grotere bedden (we zijn uiteindelijk nooit teruggebeld dat er een kamer beschikbaar)
2. We konden tegen betaling van ruim €2000,- (voor 4 nachten) 2 andere kamers boeken die aan de gunstigere kant zouden liggen met grotere bedden.
3. We kregen een andere kamer aangeboden met dezelfde bedden maar die zou minder last moeten geven van de snelweg. Deze kamer lag precies tegenover de ingang van het overdrukke zwembad die van 06:00 tot 22:00 uur geopend was wat voor ons ook geen betere optie was.

Kortom; van alle oplossingen was er geen enkele bruikbare optie.

En dan het zwembad.
Op de foto ziet het zwembad er fantastisch uit. Maar in de praktijk is dit veel te klein voor zo een groot hotel
Er waren misschien naar schatting 25 ligbedden en een aantal stoelen. Alles was continue bezet waardoor wij niet 1 dag lekker bij het zwembad hebben kunnen zitten .

Excellent séjour
Pros:

Très bon emplacement pour le centre et la plage de Santa Monica. Piscine agréable, chambres et salle de bains spacieuses.

Cons:

Un point d’amélioration : le canapé convertible des suites est très peu confortable en tant que lit additionnel.
