Pros:

The location was perfect to catch ferry to putinbay and enjoy the restaurants surrounding the hotel.

Cons:

I ended up with bed bug bites and bed bugs on my luggage.

Party central
Pros:

Nice old place with heritage decoration. The party takes on the square right in front of the hotel when live music is scheduled by the city. Room was fine.

Cons:

The front door to the hotel would not open, due to malfunction of electronic lock. We called, no response. We used the back door.

Died in '08 but nobody told it.
Pros:

The location is fun. Easy to get to and fun street. Check in and out was easy.

Cons:

The Deluxe Queen Suite was smaller than a standard hotel room. It is not a Deluxe or a Suite. The closet size room could of been better taken care of too. Ceiling cracked and chipping paint. Black dust coming out of the AC. Cobwebs and dust on the ceiling fan. Just laziness.

There was no one there when we arrived, and we had to go to another location to pick up the keys. I met several other guests who were also upset and frustrated by how inconvenient the check-in process was. On top of that, there were bugs in the room.

Adventurous historical practical stay with great access to local restaurants and entertainment
Pros:

Older historic building, no staff, easy checkin and checkout instructions. Practical and functional stay. Excellent location to local entertainment and restaurants.

Cons:

Parking spots although available for hotel guests were taken by others visiting local venues. We were able to move to hotel dedicated spots later as people left.

It was good but really confused why if you give a number to call you dont call back.
Pros:

The charm of the building and clean room. 2 seats and foot rests were nice.

Cons:

We stayed for 2 nights and did not have towels for both days. I called the number to see about getting more and never got a call back. Also when we arrived the power was out and an alarm was going off. We called to inquire about it and never got a call back.

How close it was to Jet Express made it convenient to get to the islands

Cons:

All the running around to get into the hotel room. Needs clearer instruction on what entrance to use the code (went to the first side door I saw to put in code) maybe put a picture of the back entrance on instruction sheet

Cons:

Bathroom had a major crack/hole in ceiling above the toilet - that was surrounding my mold
Messaged, emailed and called but no response back. Very disappointed.

Great room in an interesting old hotel.
Pros:

The property was right in the heart of the action of Port Clinton

Cons:

We happened to have a great room overlooking the town ‘square’, however there was a loud (not great) band playing there until 10 pm. This is not the fault of the property, just a warning to others you may hear the liveliness of this area.
