Good standard hotel with friendly staff
Pros:

Very friendly staff and great breakfast

Cons:

Seem expensive compared to other hotels of a similar standard. Limited choice of vegetarian evening meal.

In its totality, totally awesome.
Pros:

Fabulous hotel, totally unexpected in this part of Ireland. Loved Donegal and St Patrick's at Rosapenna. Every aspect of this hotel far exceeded my expectations. Definitely will come back.

Cons:

The Pub with food was excellent, however I was disappointed in the fine dining restaurant on site. In the future I would eat at the Pub or even better take the short drive to the nearby town of Downings. As with many hotels today there is no bathtub, only a shower )-:

Pros:

My fiancée and I got engaged while on an evening walk, so Carrigart will now forever have a special memory for us.

Cons:

Many of the clientele were aging male golfers. This was no problem for us, but it puts things into perspective!

Would highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely stay here again when returning to area.
Pros:

Breakfast and evening meals had good choices and food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and professional. Great service. Room was big and housekeeping excellent. Plenty parking. Convenience shops a very short walk including pharmacy. Beautiful beaches nearby. Partner loved the Golf courses. Would highly recommend this hotel.

best towels on our trip

Cons:

bar staff seemed to want to make a point about not being irish
dinner was unimpressive and not value for money. expected better. i had monfish and prawn curry which was light on the main ingredients
breakfast was poor. 1 of us said it was the worst eggs benedict they had ever had. The sausages were the cheapest

Perfect location.
Pros:

Location to see the Giants Causeway was fabulous.

Room was older and furniture was a bit large for the space - it was a bit cramped.

SUPERB
Pros:

All the staff we met were respectful,helpful and efficient at their work. The food was superb,The portions were large and there was a good variety.Breakfast was really good and well cooked. Service was prompt but unhurried.
The bedroom was large and comfortable with a kitchenette.The shower in the bathroom was the best I have encountered at home and abroad,The water was hot and a good constant pressure, the Soaker was sublime. The doors to the garden were a bonus as they allowed you to bring your suitcases directly in from the car.

Cons:

The shower base was very slippy and should have had a rubber mat,There were no hand grips in the shower which would have made the shower more elderly friendly. The heating in the room was difficult to control, but the room was cosey.
