Totally welcoming and comfortable in a great location at a great price
Pros:

The staff totally excelled in meeting any of our needs from greeting us when we arrived to sending us off. I have not encountered such excellent service before and I have been looked after pretty well at many other places. I couldn’t speak highly enough of Solaria for value and service. Thankyou

Cons:

A pool would be nice but I didn’t see too many places with those

Enjoyable comfortable stay. Staff were great. Special mentions to Grace and Daria.
Pros:

Wonderful staff. Great location. Room facilities need bit of a revamp but it is a historic hotel. Overall still comfortable. Good breakfast. But staff made all the difference.

Pros:

Ich habe dieses Hotel für meine Tochter gebucht. Alles war perfekt. Das Personal ist sehr nett, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch in der Reservierungsabteilung und der Buchhaltung – alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders Susan vom Kundenservice. Ich hatte aufgrund eines Hackerangriffs Probleme mit meiner Buchung über Booking.com , aber alle Teams haben mir geholfen, diese zu lösen. Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig. Meine Tochter hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Solaria, und wir werden dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

All the staff were exceptional! They made us feel very welcome.
Pros:

We stayed multiple times on and off for over a week. Solaria let us leave our luggage at the hotel while we went to the loop and ha long bay but that was just the beginning of their amazing service! The staff went above and beyond to assist anyway they could. And it never felt like a sale gimmick.
My 4 year old granddaughter was very overwhelmed with all the sounds of Hanoi and the girls at Solaria looked after her she was family. Even braided her hair! I cannot thank the staff enough for making our stay extra special.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn’t like!

Pros:

Un hôtel rare qui cumule tous les atouts : l’emplacement près du lac; le confort de la chambre, la qualité du restaurant - tellement bon que nous y avons dîné tous les soirs! - et surtout la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel. Nous voyageons beaucoup et nous avons rarement trouvé un accueil aussi chaleureux, une attention et un service de cette qualité. Nous avions demandé au manager, Liam de nous organiser deux excursions, à la baie d’Halong et à Ninh Binh. C’était juste parfait, avec une communication claire et précise. Et cerise sur le gâteau, un surclassement dans la croisière sur la Baie d’Halong! Un séjour inoubliable.

Great people and location!
Pros:

The location and the staff were the real highlights of our visit, along with the massages at the spa. The rooftop bar was cool but the temperature sure wasn’t. At 35c+ we were melting even in the evening.
There’s a great little restaurant/beer place two doors down that we frequented for a cold beer and to watch the people go by on the way to/from the lake.

Cons:

The rooms were a bit smaller than I expected based on the pictures I saw but that more likely on me.
