Location, historical site,
Lack of facilities for an hotel demanding hefty prices (no spa, no living room to watch special events) our “family room” was very small and no lift to access the room. No one was sent to pick up our luggage on the way out. Entrance space was automatically brightly lit while going to the toilet during the night!! You need to pee? You get punished!!
Arrogante bediening in restaurant
Unfassbar tolle Lage. Wunderbarer See Zugang.
Viel sehr junges u d unerfahrenes Personal.

The abbey is a historic building with period features and being location on the waterfront in Talloires on lake d’annecy is superb.
Being able to undertake a morning walk in the nature reserve (Roc De Chere) was a highlight for me being a hiker as well.
Restaurant was closed Mon/Tues
The location is beautiful and the building is very interesting. Many of the staff were very friendly!
We had the most unpleasant experience here with our arrival. One particular member of staff was not just rude and unpleasant but also unhelpful. On arrival there is no one to open the gate for the cars so we went inside to ask for it to be opened and met this very rude lady at the desk. Then we asked when we might be able to check in and again she barely looked at us and said she didn't know and if we wanted to know she would have to go and ask a colleague upstairs. There was a wedding at the property - which I am generally fine with, except it meant there was chaos. Clearly management had not prepared properly for this. So firstly we couldn't use the main bar and terrace for the whole afternoon of our stay and secondly the staff were struggling to cope clearly so service was not very good. When we did get our room we had to carry our own bags up there - again the lady at the front desk had no interest in helping us. In my opinion when a wedding takes over a hotel, the other visitors should receive extra special service to make up for the inconvencience, not worse. Also the restaurant here is an embarrassment - pretentious and very dull, overpriced food.
Un vrai plaisir de séjourner dans le charme de l'ancien si bien mis en valeur.
