Goede locatie, maar niet goed kunnen slapen

Dichtbij treinstation.

Cons:

Warme kamer, geen airco. Personeel zit onder het raam te roken en hard te bellen. ‘s avonds gaan felle lampen buiten aan die in de kamer schijnen. In de nacht klinkt er buiten continue een apparaat wat aanstaat. Combinatie maakt dat je ramen wel open moet doen maar dus dan fel licht, rooklucht en lawaai hebt.

Pros:

De kamer met kitchenette was uitstekend van inrichting en grootte. Zeer kwalitatieve afwerking, uitstekende bedden.
Prima ligging om de omgeving van Zermatt te verkennen. Info bureau even verderop heeft ons heel goed geholpen.

Cons:

Geen airco op de kamer moet tegenvallen als het warm is!
Ontbijtbuffet : kaas en charcuterie staan niet in koeling maar liggen gewoon op bord.
Geen info van de omgeving aan de balie.

Geweldig verblijf voor Zermatt tegen redelijke prijs.
Pros:

Alles is eigenlijk geweldig aan dit hotel: 'normale' Zwitserse prijs, prachtige kamer met fijne bedden en tegenover het station dat je naar Zermatt brengt. Je kan ook de taxi nemen van het hotel voor 7€ pp. Ontbijt was goed en personeel zeer behulpzaam. Complimenten.

Cheaper Option Than Zermatt
Pros:

The Room was great enough space to unload all our cases and enough room for our dog, the bathroom and room was clean and the shower was big, nice balcony to sit and watch the world go past and the mountain views were great,
Place was well presented, staff were great and freindly nothing was to hard, Thomas was really great very helpful as was Karin organising wine and chocolates for my wife's birthday,
Hotel is close to other restaurants and shops hotel restaurant Da Vinci's was closed for lunch and dinner but opened for breakfast, which which had a great selection of hot and cold breakfast,
Tasch railway for Zermatt ( Matterhorn) was a very short walk with a dedicated train running frequently to Zermatt, overall a very happy experience Hotel Porta Cervino,

Gute Lage, modern, Hunde willkommen, freundliches Personal, Shuttle nach Zermatt( nicht kostenlos)

Cons:

Wurst und Kaese sollten beim Fruehstueck gekuehlt werden , da Temperaturen Ende Mai schon hochsommerlich waren
