Alle unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt & wir werden wieder dort einkehren & das Hotel weiter empfehlen.
Pros:

Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral. Man ist nur einige Schritte von der Altstadt Ascona und den Lokalitäten entfernt. Da die Zimmer zum Parkplatz und der Riviera gerichtet sind, nimmt man am Leben teil. Das Frühstück ist einfach, ausgiebig und reichlich. Das Restaurant sehr gemütlich und traditionell. Das Bedienungspersonal sehr freundlich, aufgeschlossen und mehrsprachig. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und eingerichtet, sowie liebevoll renoviert. Die Klimaanlage hilft in den warmen Nächten für ausreichend Kühlung.

Cons:

Von aussen wirkt das Hotel etwas alt. Doch auch das hat seinen Reiz. Ist es doch eines der ältesten Gebäude in Ascona.

great location, comfortable room with excellent AC! The staff was very kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was tasty. Note that check-in doesn't start until 5pm. But overall a lovely stay.

Klein, gepflegtes Garni Hotel, liebevoll renoviert für Kurzurlaube
Pros:

Die Lage direkt am See, also gegenüber Park Giochi Angioli. Sehr zentral und nachts sehr ruhig, kein Durchgangverkehr. Kleines von aussen unscheinbares Gebäude mit einem schönen, grottostilähnlichen Garten, mit Restaurant.
Unser Zimmer Nr. 10 hatte den Balkon direkt ausgrichtet gegen den See (s. Foto). Zimmer zweckmässig, frisch modern eingerichtet. Grosszügig, helles Bad/WC (grosse Fenster) mit begehbarer Regendusche. Es macht den Anschein das Zimmer wurde erst kürzlich renoviert.
Das Zimmer hat (ohne Bad) ein Klimagerät was herrlich ist bei hohen Aussentemperaturen.
Sehr praktisch ist, dass man die Zimmerschlüssel mit den schweren Messinganhänger praktisch gegen einen Passpartout für späte Heimkehr selbstständig ausgelöst werden kann.

Cons:

Für die Verdunkelung in der Nacht fehlte uns jetzt Nachtvorhänge oder ein Läden.

Pros:

Die Lage. Frühstück mittelmässig.

Cons:

Veraltete Zimmereinrichtung, sehr kleines Bad. Keine Rezeption. Man konnte nicht mal erkennen, wo sich der Eingang zum Hotel befindet. Sehr unfreundliches Personal.

Convenient one night stay with AC
Pros:

Location location location. The rooms is small but has all you need (even coffee!), but most important it has a good working AC.

Cons:

A bit difficult to find the entrance, and to understand where is the room vs. the restaurant. Not very friendly hosts, but ok.

Perhaps the most weird thing: we spent only one night, and our towels were removed from our room before the checkout time, without asking for permission to enter. When we asked we were offered new towels, but they didn't know what happened.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Gerne wieder!
Pros:

Sehr schönes, wohl kürzlich renoviertes Zimmer mit schönem Holzboden und schönes, grosses Badezimmer.

Äusserst freundlicher Herr am Frühstücksbuffet, der sich um alles kümmerte, inkl. Check-Out!

Cons:

Wenn auf hohem Niveau etwas zu bemängeln ist, dann höchstens der etwas schmale Balkon ohne Blumenkisten. Dafür eine schöne Aussicht auf den See und Richtung Piazza.

Lage ist top freundliches Personal, sauber!

Cons:

Dusche war zu klein, und das Fenster war auch ein bisschen klein! Leider war das W-LAN im Zimmer sehr schlecht!
