Hôtel récent et moderne, offrant un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Les chambres sont confortables et impeccables, le personnel accueillant et le petit-déjeuner très complet. Une adresse fiable et particulièrement avantageuse à Padang.
Spacious rooms
Staff did not bother to meet guest request even when proven later they actually could. Requested for higher floor room as I'm sensitive to noise, and was given a lower floor one fronting the main road. Upon asking, they moved me to a higher floor room. This showed that staff did not have any interest to go out of their way to meet guest's request even if they could in the first place.
At the rooftop bar, despite having barely 10 people hanging there and majority of seats were unoccupied, the staff said I could neither sit here nor there, saying they had an event later. Directed me to a dark corner outdoors and with the seats missing cushions. I said the event hadn't started so why not let me sit for 15mins and I'd be done. By the time I left, the place was still empty. Really robotic staff who exhibited little human flexibility, and if this was a welcome drink, I certainly didn't feel welcome. And if the bar is reserved for an event, then don't issue welcome drink coupon only to make guests feel unwelcome. This again showed they just robotically went through the motion.
Does the hotel management and staff think hardware alone makes a good hotel ? The hospitability business is about service and people. Those who don't have service in their DNA are in the wrong line. This is what it is.
This was my second stay. Won't be back any time soon.
