Pros:

Loved the hotel itself and most of the staff were nice.

Cons:

Food in the pavillion was terrible, stale and overpriced as was desert with our evening meal in the main dining room.

Not the pampered luxury getaway I was hoping for...
Pros:

Its an old iconic property....Close to Katoomba and the views are good.

Cons:

No lift of any kind to the upper floors, Dated, very dark decor and images in the rooms, Food was overpriced with obligatory 2 course minimums, no Gym, Spa or sauna facilities.

Not a bad experience for 1 night but I wouldn’t stay for longer.
Pros:

Views were exceptional. Tennis courts were also great quality.

Cons:

Rooms were quite small and underwhelming. Breakfast staff were not very personable. We were waiting to be seated and a staff member (potentially new) clearly saw us waiting but did not attend to us or even let the manager know we were waiting. The coffee ordering was disorganized as well.

Shame - it was something we were looking forward to but did not live up to expectation.
Pros:

The main facilities and the breakfast. The dinner was commented on as unacceptable when my wife found fish bones, no apology was given and my wife had no main meal - not acceptable at any price.

Cons:

The front rooms are very noisy unless yuo like trains and air brakes on large trucks. The view was of the railway station.
