Só Espeto Accommodation Rooms

Pokoje są blisko lotniska i słychać czasem rano samoloty, dodatkowo ciężko spać przy zamkniętym oknie i słychać też auta z pobliskiej ulicy. W kuchni dziwny zapach, samemu trzeba kupić sobie papier bo nie ma zapasu i worek na śmieci, brak klimy

Sauberkeit war ok. Mehr aber auch nicht. Auf Anfrage wurden direkt neue Handtücher gebracht.

War sehr heiß und nicht so gut zum Lüften. Die Toiletten sind leider nicht getrennt von Zimmer.

Nie jestem zwolennikiem klimatyzacji, ale byliśmy w październiku i wiatrak niewiele pomagał przy zamkniętych oknach, przy otwartych słychać samoloty i ulice, nam to akurat nie przeszkadzało. Średni kontakt z obsługą i brak moskitier.

The pictures on Booking.com have absolutely nothing to do with reality; they are completely misleading.

We cannot comprehend the relatively good ratings and positive comments; it felt as if we had stayed at a completely different place.

Upon entering the building, we felt like we had traveled 50 years back in time. This wouldn't necessarily be a problem in itself, though it is not what the pictures suggest.

The real problem, however, hit us upon entering the room: a dirty carpet, dusty surfaces, a stale smell, and suffocating heat (the window couldn't be opened due to the nearby highway). There was a mold stain visible on the bathroom ceiling, and the tiling was sloppy, with several tiles missing. The supposedly clean towel was stained, had hairs on it, and smelled musty. Let's not even mention the shabby solutions, like an out-of-use bathtub just covered with a panel.

In the shared kitchen, the dining surfaces (floor, tables, counters) were worn out, and the amount of dirt was astonishing there as well.

We stayed at two other accommodations in Madeira in a similar price range (one in downtown Funchal), which cannot even be compared to this place.

If we could have, we would have left the property immediately, but unfortunately, we arrived late at night when we were faced with the situation. Because of this, we stayed for one night and left at dawn. We reported our complaint and departure to the host right away, but they have refused to reply ever since, and they also rejected our complaint via Booking.com.

De warmte. Ik miste airco, al wist ik dat het er niet was. Gezien de locatie vlak naast de grote weg en de overvliegende vliegtuigen is het niet prettig om met de deur open te slapen.

Nella nostra camera, stanza da letto e bagno non sono separati da una porta e il water è proprio di fronte al letto, senza alcuna barriera.
Inoltre volendo arieggiare la stanza e avere una temperatura vivibile, senza dover tenere il ventilatore costantemente acceso, va tenuta aperta la porta finestra, unica aperture sull'esterno: a questo scopo va considerato il passaggio frequente di aerei vista la vicinanza all'aeroporto, ed il conseguente rumore, anche notturno.

The room was noisy (the building sits on an island between the highway and some roads) and hot but there was no AC so the bslcony door had top be kept open.

Location between two motorways and in the flight path. Constant noise all hours .
