Pros:

It was new

Cons:

Over priced for what you get, no breakfast facilities only coffee and tea.
No seating in the room other than a bed, for $250 per night not worth it.

Beautiful accommodation with excellent dining.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and security very efficient. Modern bathroom was beautiful. Additional lounge/library a bonus.

Cons:

Pillows were a little flat but that is minor.

Beautifully presented in both the public areas & our suite . Luxurious finishes , large suite with large bathroom . Excellent parking & flawless self check-in ! Excellent on-site restaurant & full hotel services.

Incredible stay!
Pros:

Incredible stay! We have stayed here a few times now and will always stay again when we are in the area. Wonderful rooms, clean and the pub is delightful.

Pros:

We stayed in a beautiful suite. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. The decor and furnishings were gorgeous, dark and moody, perfect for a cosy weekend. The restaurant was also lovely. We had a delicious meal and chatted with the owner of the hotel, who was warm and friendly.

Cons:

Although beautiful, the dark and moody bathroom made it very difficult to see in the mirror to do hair and make-up. Better lighting is required over the bathroom mirror. It would also be useful to have a full length mirror somewhere in the room.

Pros:

Clean, new, central to everything. Restaurant was fantastic.

Cons:

Our booking didn't advise of the stairs to our room and as a result I struggled with going to and from the room.Also cold showers at 7 :30 a.m. on Monday morning

Great hotel , great restaurant, great stay
Pros:

The hotel , everything!

Cons:

Our room needed 2 armchairs and a coffee table . There was no where to sit other than the beds . The room was massive . Our friends in the other room had chairs? Puzzling

The beautiful room and super comfy bed! Also the restaurant and bar just downstairs. But the really lovely touch was access to the magnificent verandah and lounge upstairs. 😍

Rutherglen with Class
Pros:

The hotel has been renovated to a very high standard. The history and charm of the building has remained. The decor is stunning, styled with beautiful furniture and ornaments reflecting the history of the building. Hunter products were in the bathroom. We stayed for 3 nights and ate in the restaurant downstairs two of the nights. The food was fabulous, the staff were very attentive and the whole venue was stunning. It is a jewel in the centre of Rutherglen.

The upmarket hotel was beautiful. The location was great & the restaurant at the hotel was lovely.

Pros:

The location in central Rutherglen was good; the room was rather small but tastefully decorated.
The library area was a very nice social space.

Cons:

No breakfast was offered, even a deal with vouchers to local cafes would have been nice for the $300 + price tag per night.

There was no check in staff. The self-check in was very socially isolating and made it very sterile.

The bathroom was very large with a sizeable shower area with a severe issue of water going everywhere from the inability of the drainage and fall unable to keep up with a moderate shower flow.
