We were very fortunate to get an upgrade on arrival. Very large room with a lovely balcony. The bathroom was complete with shower and bath/spa.
The water pressure was excellent with ample hot water.Room fully air conditioned. Highly recommend the York.

Room was not made up when we arrived at 5.30pm. On calling our contact we were moved to another room, lucky they were not booked out.
The York Palace was in a great location to easily walk about the town of York and the heritage trail along the river.
Clean comfortable room.
No tea towel to dry mugs and glasses.

It was all good
Our upstairs room with a veranda overlooking the main street was beautifully restored to its former glory. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.
There is no bar or restaurant operating, but they are within a short walk.

The room was very spacious clean, private and a lovely view from the balcony. Beautiful big bathroom and spa. Bed was very comfortable.
The lovely owner Nola was very friendly and super funny!
We liked it that much we have rebooked another stay .

It was all contact free, no reception and we didnt see any staff. No breakfast facilities ( not even a teaspoon to stir our cuppa! )We received a confusing email the day before our visit with the wrong date on it and account confusion.
