Very nice looking property and grounds but undersatffed and rooms need aircon for summer periods.
Pros:

The look of it and the grounds where nice

Cons:

Understaffed and even the staff said they needed more. The rooms were too hot and only a small fan was given, couldn’t leave the door open to patio as anyone could walk in and there wasn’t a window.
Manager was stressed on arrival as booking in wedding guests and said room wasn’t ready. We were told we could come early over the phone if it was ready but manager said he would call me when it was ready and never did. Breakfast was ok but had to wait a long time for food to be restocked as only two people where working and they where working extremely hard. Won’t be returning I’m afraid.

Pros:

Staff helpful and friendly, bar area ok and drinks are typically priced for the area.

Cons:

Room was situated in a separate building away from the main hotel, not an issue for us but could be for some as it's a short walk. That building also seems a little run down compared to the main hotel. Also very limited parking in that area, so had to park on a wet and muddy overflow grass area which requires driving over quite a substantial bump to get to, wouldn't be ideal if you have a nice car. Breakfast was really bad, pastries seemed stale, and all the items on the buffet style breakfast were cold despite being under "hot" lamps. We left the vast majority of our food and ate breakfast elsewhere. The main reason that I'm rating this a 6 and not much lower is the low price we paid.

Would stay again but I’d expect a cleaner room which has seen a lick of paint
Pros:

Property looked lovely but wasn’t aware I was not staying in the main hotel and in the Grange. Not an issue but a heads up would’ve been good.

Cons:

The room had ants roaming round (it’s hot so things happen) the bathroom had rust on the handles, paint and roof peeling, marks in the bath. Not the cleanest. Get what you pay for I guess but did the job. The staff were all lovely to me.

Pros:

The location, historic buildings & grounds.

Cons:

The hotel had 2 wedding parties on site during our stay, one of which was in the main reception building. When accessing the communal bar area from reception my wife was verbally assaulted by a bridesmaid from the wedding party at told to F**ing get out & find another place to go!

My wife was was mature enough to manage the ridiculous situation albeit aggressive & completely unacceptable but my children were rather stressed about what they witnessed & raced off to find me.
My son who has special needs remained on edge for the rest of the evening which ruined the evening.

Whilst the unprovoked, surprise verbal attack on my wife was down to one small minded person, this was not the arrival greeting we expected!

From my opinion the root cause of the issue was the fact that management of guests on site should have been better as it was obvious that wedding guests thought they had exclusivity & regular guests felt awkward being amongst a wedding party in the communal areas.

Unfortunately this incident & the fact the rooms really need some attention on maintenance & cleanliness, means we will not be returning!

It's a shame as the staff were pleasant, although stretched thin.

I hope management & facilities can be improved upon in future as this hotel has the potential to be upper mid-high end.

Warbrook House nestled within its beautiful estate helped us to truly unwind.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and went out of their way to see that our needs were met. Our waiter, Arman, displayed exceptional customer care and the rooms were spotless. We enjoyed the food immensely and the crisp Rose wine was delicious. There was a magical feeling in the estate grounds and lake, which were beautiful, and we enjoyed a stroll over the bridge every day.

Cons:

nothing.

Impossible to inhabit.
Cons:

The room was 37C. It was a sun facing room and was heated up during the day. You couldn't open windows or cool room down. I called reception twice to see if they could provide aircon or fans. They said they would. After three hours of waiting I gave up. Slept part of the night in the car.

Lovely place, would stay again but not during a hot spell.
Pros:

Location,nice area.Lovely breakfast.

Cons:

We stayed during a hot spell,we opened the door to the entrance and it was like opening an oven door, the room was absolutely boiling and there wasn’t a window to open only french doors which being on the ground floor we were unable to leave open. They did supply a tower fan but it was just blowing around hot air,my watch showed I had 2 hours 55 minutes sleep.
